Jan. 10.
Westminster.
To the mayor and bailiffs of Newcastle upon Tyne, and the keepers of the passage in that port. Order on sight etc. to cause proclamation to be made that all who will sell victuals shall carry them as speedily as may be to Berewic upon Twede for sale, and they shall have prompt payment, forbidding any man of whatsoever estate or condition under pain of forfeiture to take such victuals over to the king's enemies of Scotland by colour of the proclamation.
