Westminster.
To the sheriffs of London. Order by mainprise of John Daspermont vicomte of Dort to set free James de Lustrak esquire, imprisoned at suit of Fernandus Alfance master of the order of knighthood of St. James of Portugal for debt, so long as his suit before the king and council against Daniel de Mare merchant of Genoa (Janua) for alleged treasons committed in England shall last; as it is the king's will not to leave unpunished such treasons, if committed.

To Richard Baysy, lately joined with other lieges as guardian of the peace and justice of oyer and terminer in Yorkshire. Writ of supersedeas until further order in respect of that or any other commission of oyer and terminer or to make inquisition in Yorkshire; as information is given to the king and council that he is of the household, livery, counsel and retinue of the archbishop of York, between whom and the canons of York and the citizens of York strife and debate are now newly arisen, and that he will speedily meddle in his said office in favour of the archbishop, which will on all hands be called dishonourable while the matters aforesaid are pending without debate.
