John filz Richard of Olneye, otherwise called John de Olneye, to Robert de Melton clerk and John Rome clerk parson of Garthorp, their heirs and assigns. Quitclaim of all lands, rents and services, reversions, advowsons etc. in Braddene, Slapton and Abthorp sometime of Thomas de Baa. Witnesses: John Josep, John Ters, Thomas Saundres, all of Toucestre, William Dille of Caldecote, Nicholas Godeman. Dated 12 November 8 Richard II.
John fitz Richard (as above) to Robert de Melton and John Rome (as above), and to their heirs. Grant of the reversion of all the lands, rents and services in Braddene, Blaculuesle and Sewelle co. Norhampton held by Thomas son of Thomas de Baa of Braddene by gift of John fitz Richard and John Frethorne chaplain to him and the heirs of his body with reversion for lack of such an heir to John filz Richard and his heirs. Witnesses (as the last). Dated 20 November 8 Richard II.
Memorandum of acknowledgment of the foregoing writings, 2 December.
John Knyvet, son and heir of Sir John Knyvet knight, to John Holt knight, his heirs and assigns. Gift with warranty of the advowson of the provostship or chantry of Cotherstoke, the services of the provost and chaplains of the house and of their successors, and the right of patronage or any other right which the grantor may have in the said advowson or the possessions belonging to the provost and chaplains, reciting a charter whereby John son of Roger Giffard, being cousin and heir of Sir John Giffard the first founder, gave the said advowson, services etc. to John son of Richard Knyvet the elder (seniori) father of the now grantor, his heirs and assigns, which charter is enrolled in the Common Bench, roll 2 of charters and protections for Michaelmas term 31 Edward III, and an attornment by the provost and chaplains to the said John son of Richard. Witnesses: William la Zouche lord of Haryngworth, William de Thorp, Henry Grene knights, John Tyndale, John Pyel, John Fossebrooke, Nicholas Warde. Dated Cotherstoke, Wednesday the feast of St. Andrew 8 Richard II.
