William de Elcoftes and Thomas son of Thomas Perkynson to John de Scardeburgh clerk. Recognisance for 4l. 9s. 4d., to be levied etc. in Yorkshire.
Christopher de Shukkeburgh and Agnes his wife to Thomas Chicche of Balverle, Gilbert Maufelde citizen of London, Nicholas Potyn, John Dreylonde, William Emery and William de Makenhade and to the heirs and assigns of William de Makenhade, to whom Roger de Northwode, son and heir of Sir John de Northwode son and heir of Sir Roger de Northwode knight, by deed dated 14 December 8 Richard II and sealed with his seal of arms gave the reversion of the manor of Hortone by Canterbury, and of other lands of his heritage in Chertham and Petham, held by the said Christopher and Agnes for the life of Agnes by virtue of a grant made by fine in the late king's court by Richard Sheme clerk and Peter Hadeland to the said Sir Roger the grandfather and the said Agnes then his wife. Attornment and fealty for the premises. Dated Hortone by Canterbury, 22 December 8 Richard II. Witnesses: Sir William Septvaunz knight, William Chertham, Richard Skyppe, Thomas Kenefelde.

Cancelled on payment, acknowledged by the countess before Robert Carbonell knight by virtue of a dedimus potestatem which is on the chancery file for 12 Richard II.
Godfrey Cyfrewast to Thomas Restwold, his heirs and assigns. Quitclaim with warranty of the manor called 'Cyfrewastescourt' in Wiltesir. Witnesses: Thomas de Hungerford, Ralph Cheyne, John de Kyngeston knights, Hugh Cheyne, Lawrence Dru, Nicholas Bonham, William Daungens. Dated Chitterne aforesaid (sic), 7 February 8 Richard II.

Charter with warranty of his manors of Swillyngton called the 'Oldehalle' and the 'Newhalle,' and all his lands, rents, services and reversions in Swillyngton, Preston, Garforde, Metheley and Allirton by the Water co. Memorandum (in margin) that on 15 March 11 Richard II Walter de Lokyngton came into chancery at Westminster and gave up this writing to John Seint Johan, discharging him and his heirs of the rent therein mentioned.

Quitclaim with warranty of all lands in Brerdynge, Smalbrook, Morton, Aucheston, Forsteres and Wyndyate in the parish of Brerdynge, and of the reversion of the moiety which is of his heritage of lands etc. held for life by John atte Hale in Brondeston in the parish of Newechurche, and by Robert Besyn in Preston. Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 500 marks, made in chancery 3 February this year by William Walleworth knight of London, John Lee of Bedfordshire, Peter Salforde of the same and John Blachale of London for William Breteville knight, that he shall do or procure no hurt or harm to Robert Barry of Tothale.
Agnes Hale widow to brother Herman abbot of Stratford. Receipt for 20l. 5s. 9d. to her granted by the king's letters patent, dated Wyndesore 2 January last, in part payment of a larger sum to her due from John Northampton late citizen of London, the abbot being bound to the king in that sum as the said John's debtor by a judgment lately rendered against the said John. Dated Westminster, 6 February 8 Richard II.

Memorandum of defeasance, upon condition that the said Walter shall not directly or indirectly by himself or another trouble the prior and convent of Burscogh of the order of St. Augustine in the diocese of Lichefeld or any other touching the title or possession of the parish church of Radeclif upon Sore in the diocese of York, or any cause or claim depending thereupon.
