Oxford.
To the sheriff of Salop. Order to take with him the keepers of pleas of the crown and twelve other knights and true men of Salop, and to repair in person to 30 acres of land and 3 acres of meadow in Burghton and make inquisition, and if it be found that John Powere and Wenthlian his wife were by John de Burghton unlawfully disseised of the premises after they recovered seisin thereof against him by an assize of mort d'ancestor at Shrewsbury before Robert de Bealknapp and Robert Charleton justices of assize, as they have shewn, to take and imprison him, setting him not free without special command of the king, and to give John Powere and Wenthlian again seisin thereof and double their damages to be by the said twelve men assessed and levied of his lands and chattels according to the statute of Westminster concerning disseisins after recovery, giving John de Burghton notice to be present at such inquisition if he shall think fit.
Vacated, because otherwise on the roll of redisseisins.
