To all sheriffs, mayors, bailiffs, ministers and lieges of the king to
whom etc. Order, upon petition of Fernand Alfonce master of the
order of knighthood of St. James of Portugal, if assured that they
were retained by him to sail on the king's service to Portugal in his
company, and have received of him great sums for that cause, but
refuse to sail, to arrest Reynold Cobham, John Lyneforde, William
Swonangre, John Wilkoke, John Perlous, William Armourer, John
Bampton, John Prescote, John Halle, Robert Secheforde, John Dene,
Robert Badby, Richard Bretford, John Richemonde, Thomas Sley,
John Walsshe, William Burton, Robert Caudre, William Bowes,
Garland Godfelowe, Richard Sulhulle, John Ryslep, William
Schalforde, John Withe, John Vise, Peter Bygayn, Alexander
Roulonde, Roger Botoun, John Colyn, John Cruse, Richard Rammel,
Richard Lye and Richard Cardican, and to compel them so to sail,
or else to keep them in safe custody in the king's prisons until further
order for their deliverance; as the king is informed that they have
taken no heed to sail or to make ready, but are wandering about in
divers parts of the realm seeking excuses, in contempt of the king
