Dec. 10.
Westminster.
To the treasurer and the barons of the exchequer. Writ of supersedeas until the octaves of the Purification next in respect of their demand against John de Felton knight, William de la Vale knight, John de Akon clerk, Robert de Flyntalgh clerk, John Percy of Kyldale, Thomas de Moderby and Thomas de Faucomberge of Bilton or their mainpernors to answer for the issues of the manors of Retheresthroupe and Pateshulle co. Norhampton, which were for particular causes taken into the king's hand by Roger de la Chambre the escheator, and the keeping whereof by a mainprise on 4 July 6 Richard II the king committed to them, with the issues thereof taken etc., until the king should be more fully certified whether the same ought to pertain to him or to them, so that they should answer at the exchequer for the issues and for all other profits thereof, if it should be adjudged that those manors ought to pertain to the king.

To the sheriffs of London. Writ of supersedeas, by mainprise of John Bacoun, John Spynke of Norffolk, Walter Biere of Dorset and William Drapere of Holbourne of Middlesex, in favour of Robert Gardiner of Holburne at suit of John Noreys manciple dwelling at London in the rent of Sir [ (fn. 1) ] Furnevall knight in Holbourne for debt.

To the sheriff of Hertford. Writ of supersedeas, by mainprise of James de Billyngford of Norffolk, Walter Lokyngton and John Lokton the younger of Yorkshire and John Lilleborne clerk of Norhamptonshire in favour of Thomas Pentecombe parson of Aston at suit of Walter Combe averring threats.
Dec. 23.
Westminster.
To the warden of the Flete prison, or to his representative. Order by mainprise of John Lynge, John Haan of London, Lawrence Stainer and Martin Stainer of Essex to set free Robert Darsham; as they have mainperned to have him in chancery in the quinzaine of St. Hilary next to answer the king and Richard Scrope knight touching what shall be laid against him.
