Writ of supersedeas omnino, by mainprise of Robert Thornes, William de Lee and John Keyne of Salop and Roger Trewythynnek of Cornwall, in favour of Richard de Chelmeswyke at suit of William Warde of Hatton and Thomas Wilverston averring threats.

Writ of supersedeas, by mainprise of William Yeland, Richard Cliderowe, William Elyngton of Yorkshire and John Felton of Northumberland, in favour of Walter Clerc at suit of Aymer de Athedeles knight for an account for the time that he was the plaintiff's bailiff and receiver in Felton, and by another writ for trespass.
Roger de Northwode knight, son and heir of Sir John Northwode knight, to Thomas Chiche of Balverle, Gilbert Manfeld citizen of London, Nicholas Potyn, John Dreylonde, William Emery and William de Makenhade, and to the heirs and assigns of William de Makenhade. Quitclaim with warranty, for 200 marks this day paid by William de Makenhade, the receipt whereof is acknowledged, and for further assurance of their estate, of the reversion of the manor of Horton by Canterbury, and of all right in that manor, reciting that Sir Roger de Northwode the elder, his grandfather, after the death of Dame Elizabeth daughter of Sir John de Segrave knight lord of Folkestane his second wife, who died without issue, was seised of that manor in fee simple, and willing to advance Agnes his last wife, in the quinzaine of Michaelmas 34 Edward III levied a fine thereof before Robert de Thorp etc. justices of the Bench between the said Sir Roger the elder and Agnes plaintiffs and Richard Sheme vicar of Eastcherche and Peter Hadland deforciants, whereby Sir Roger acknowledged the right of the said Richard, and for that acknowledgment and concord the deforciants granted the manor to the plaintiffs and the heirs of the said Roger, that after his death, the said Agnes surviving, the reversion thereof descended to Roger the grandson, being son and heir of the said John son and heir of Sir Roger the elder, who before his eighteenth year begat the said John by Juliana de Say his first wife, sister of Sir Geoffrey late lord of Say knight, that on 14 December 8 Richard II by deed enrolled in chancery Roger the grandson gave the said reversion to the said Thomas Chiche and the others and to the heirs and assigns of William de Makenhade, and to the end that his grant thereof should be publicly acknowledged, on 6 February following in his presence Christopher de Shukkeburgh, who took the said Agnes to wife, attorned tenant to William de Makenhade by delivery of one glove (serotece), although the said Christopher and Agnes previously attorned tenants to the said William by deed enrolled in chancery, dated Horton 22 December 8 Richard II, and reciting that in their seisin being the said Roger the grandson on 6 February aforesaid made a release to the said Thomas and the others by a deed enrolled in chancery. Quitclaim with warranty of a void piece of land in St. Vedast lane by Westchepe London, between a tenement of William Donemowe late citizen and 'baker' of London on the west and tenements of the said Richard and of Thomas Reynham on the east extending lengthwise from a tenement of John de Cantebrigge southward to a tenement late of John Cappe and a tenement of the said William northward, and containing in length from north to south 10 iron yards of the king's iron yards and 10 inches on the west side and 9 such yards 2 feet 6 inches on the east side, and in breadth from west to east 5 such yards 2 feet 4 inches at the west (sic) end and 5 such yards 1 foot 3 inches at the north end. Defeasance thereof, upon condition that John Lestraunge knight, son and heir of Roger Lestraunge of Knokyn knight and of Alina his wife, shall hold no manors or lands in Salop or elsewhere in chief by barony whereof the said John had livery after the death of the said Alina.
