To the sheriff of Bristol. Writ of supersedeas, and order by mainprise of Richard Hamenasshe chaplain, Hugh Hamenasshe of Salop, Stephen Gayste of London and John Wycombe of Welles of Somerset to set free Nicholas Verdoun 'taillour,' otherwise called Nicholas Irysshe, if taken at suit of John Haddoun averring threats.

Thomas Maundevylle knight to Geoffrey Colevylle, William Prentys, Thomas Blosme, John Swetynge, William Gristede and William Hosyere, their heirs and assigns. Grant of a yearly rent of 10l. to be taken of the manor of Bromfelde, with condition that whereas Thomas Maundevylle knight deceased, father of the grantor, claimed Adam Edward, now called Adam atte Ponde, and all his issue as villeins regardant to his manor of Chatham, whereof the grantor is seised by inheritance together with the said manor of Bremfelde, the said rent shall cease so long at the said Adam and John, Hugh, Roger and William his sons, their heirs and goods, shall be free and in peace, not being arrested by the grantor or his heirs by reason of villenage. And for greater security he has put the grantees in seisin of the said rent by payment of 6s. 8d. Dated 20 January 10 Richard II. French.

Michael de Ravenysdale parson of Tharfelde and Nicholas Hareward vicar of Wodhorne, executors of John de Hatfeld sometime citizen and pepperer of London, to David Holgrave, his heirs and assigns. Grant, sale and quitclaim of all the testator's lands etc. in Calais, in pursuance of his will, whereby he bequeathed the same to Ellen his wife for life, with remainder to John his son and to the heirs of his body, remainder to his said executors to sell for his soul, John the son being dead without issue, and the premises being now in the tenure of the said David and the said Ellen now his wife. Dated 1 December 10 Richard II.
