Nottingham castle.
John Peytevyn esquire is sent to the prior and convent of Roucestre, to take such maintenance of that house as Master Edmund Tettesworth deceased had at the late king's command. By p.s. [4251.]
George abbot of Welbeke and the convent in full chapter to Robert de Santon clerk and his assigns during his life. Grant of a yearly rent of 10l. payable at Easter at Wirsoppe, and bond for payment thereof. Dated 20 October 10 Richard II.
George abbot of Welbeke and the convent to Robert de Santon clerk. Bond indented in 20l., payable whensoever they shall make default in payment of the rent to him granted (as above) one month after the said feast. Dated (as the last).

Agnes who was wife of John Kyngesmulle of Aulton to William Wollane merchant, cousin and heir of John Wollane of Aulton, his heirs and assigns. Gift with warranty, subject to a rent of 3s. 4d. to her for life, of divers lands in Aulton, Estbrouke and Westbrouke which her said husband, being thereof seised, gave to the said John Wollane, his heirs and assigns, and John Wollane rendered and granted to her said husband and her and to the heirs of their bodies, with remainder to him the said John Wollane, his heirs and assigns, her husband having died without issue by her. Witnesses: Richard Ingerham, John Golde, John Guy, John Poparde, William Froylle. Dated Tuesday before the Purification 9 Richard II.

Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 100 marks, made in chancery 2 May this year by Robert Podyng, Roger Trethenek, John Tregose and Nicholas Bokelly of Cornwall for Henry Bodulgare, that he shall do or procure no hurt or harm to Richard Abbot of Hildeston.
Memorandum of a mainprise under a pain of 200l., made in chancery 3 May this year by Richard Hurst of Sussex, Robert Lyndesey, Thomas Seynt Alboun and John Bouet of London for Robert Passheley knight, that he shall do or procure no hurt or harm to Henry de Thorp serjeant at arms.
Memorandum that Nicius Burnell a Lumbard by his assent and assent of the attorneys of the bishop of Durham had a day until the octaves of St. John Baptist next; and of a mainprise under a pain of 200l., made in chancery 1 May this year by Dinus Dargaigny, Angelus Christofori, Bartholomew Bosane, John Pontadour, Albrandus Gascoigne and Gilbert Aymerike merchants of Luka, Anthony Thomas and Gauter Barde of Florence, to have the said Nicius in chancery at the day named, ready to answer the bishop and John de Neville in their plaint pending against him concerning Francis Vyncheguerre; and bond in 300l. of the said mainpernors (the said Gilbert and Gauter excepted) to content the bishop and John de Neville of that or any less sum, in case by the king's court the said defendant shall be adjudged to pay it for the said Francis, and under a pain of 1,000l. to give up the defendant's body to prison for the surplus, in case a greater sum be so adjudged, or else to content the plaintiffs of such surplus, the same to be levied of their goods in the city of London.
