Westminster.
To the prévôt of Groville in the isle of Jeresey for the time being. Order to pay to Thomas Bethom esquire 63l. 10s. a year for life, and the arrears since 7 September 15 Richard II, on which date the king by letters patent confirmed a grant to him made by Hugh de Calvyley knight during the said Hugh's life of 63l. 10s. 'tourneys fortz' of rent (de redditu sensivo) upon the parish of Groville by the hands of the prévôt thereof, which rent in francs is worth 73 francs 14s. 6d. tourneys, and granted further with assent of the council that the said Thomas should have the same for life.
