Leeds castle.
William Stucle is sent to the master and brethren of the Domus Dei Dovorre, to have such maintenance for life as John Parker deceased had therein at the king's command. By p.s. [10065.]
July 3.
Westminster.
To the treasurer and the barons of the exchequer. Writ of supersedeas omnino in respect of any process against John Preston deceased and John Preston son and heir and tenant of the lands of the deceased, who was appointed with others a justice of the peace in Westmerland, to keep the statutes of Winchester, Norhampton and Westminster concerning the peace, and a justice of oyer and terminer there, but order to proceed against others who did meddle therein; as John the son has made oath in chancery that that commission was not delivered to his father, neither did he meddle in aught therein contained.

The king and Nanfre Molakyn of Florence. Indenture witnessing that the king has appointed him master and worker of his gold and silver moneys in the Tower of London and in Calais (as above p. 381): the king shall cause proclamation etc. forbidding.

any man to carry etc. (as above l. c.): mainpernors, John Thornbury of Hertfordshire knight, Andrew Neuport, John Walden, both of Essex esquires, Robert Bays canon of the cathedral church of Welles, Walter Merwe, John Godard, John Iryssh, Thomas Trumpyngton, David Taillour and Nicholas Alboun, all of London, each for 100 marks. The said Walter and Thomas to Hugh Drayton. Like recognisance for 163l. 6s. 8d.
