Jan. 8.
Westminster.
To the collectors of the subsidy of 3s. upon every tun of wine in the port of London. Order to deliver to Robert bishop of London, without payment of that subsidy or of any custom, seven tuns of wine of Gascony, thence sent to him for consumption of his household.

Westminster.
To the collectors of customs in the port of St. Botolphs town for the time being. Order to pay to Thomas archbishop of Canterbury and Edward earl of Roteland, or to their deputies, 107l. 5s. 11½d. a year and the arrears since Easter 18 Richard II; as among other things to her granted in dower or for life, the king granted to Queen Anne that yearly sum in part of her dower, to be taken of the customs there by the collectors' hands, and on 28 May 18 Richard II granted to the said Thomas, then archbishop of York and now of Canterbury, and to the said earl for their lives and the life of the longest liver from Easter then last all lands, castles, manors, lordships, hundreds, liberties, customs and franchises which were hers in England and Wales.

To the sheriff or farmers of the town of Bristol for the time being. Order to deliver to Richard Abberbury the king's knight one tun of wine of Oseye a year, and the arrears since 6 August 18 Richard II, on which date with assent of the council the king granted him one tun of such wine a year there for life by the hands of the sheriffs or farmers, in consideration of a like grant to him made by Queen Anne for her life, and of his good service to the king and the said queen.
