  • 1. On the back of the volume is the usual modern description in Latin: 1465–66–67. An. iii. Pauli II, and on a modern end-paper is Mgr. Wenzel's ‘An. iv. to. 9.’ On a surviving fragment of a contemporary endpaper is ‘R(ecipe)Ste., P.,’ and the damaged description: Primus de diversis [formis], de prebendis vacantibus … | et de plenaria [remissione, anno] tertio domini Pa[uli pape ii.]. This is completed by the similar contemporary description which also occurs, as usual, on the bottom edge of the volume, although hardly legible, viz., Primus de diversis, prebendis vacantibus, litteris dominorum Cardinalium et de plenaria anno iii. domini Pauli pape ii. There are ff. i.-ccxlii. of text (many of them blank), + ccxliii. blank.
  • 2. These indults begin on f. 222, which has the unusual heading ‘Devotionis [anno] 3o,’ i.e. the incipit of these indults of plenary indulgence.
