To the abbot of Colros in the diocese of Dunblane. Mandate to collate and assign to David Ruch, a monk of Dunfermlyn, O.S.B., in the diocese of St. Andrews, the sacristship of that monastery, a claustral office wont to be held by monks thereof, with cure by reason of the parish churches annexed thereto, and value with its annexes not exceeding 30l. sterling, void by the death of John de Bennala extraR.c.,; whether it be so void, or be void by the resignation of the said John de Bennala, or of William Boys, or be void in any other way. To the prior of Bridgetown (Villepontis) in the diocese of Cloyne (Clonen.), the dean of Cloyne, and John Fuyt, a canon of the same. Mandate to collate and assign to Nicholas Ocarul, clerk, of the diocese of Lismore, the perpetual vicarage of the parish church of Ardnor in the said diocese, value not exceeding 20 marks sterling, so long void that its collation has lapsed to the apostolic see, and that there is no certain knowledge of the mode of its voidance; although Cornelius Obeyn (? recte Obryn), priest, from fear of whose power the said Nicholas cannot safely meet him in the city or diocese of Lismore, who is to be summoned and removed, has detained possession for between sixteen and twenty years without any title. Collation and provision of the said church, value not exceeding 40 marks sterling, void at the apostolic see, and therefore ipso facto reserved to the pope, by the recent resignation to the pope of William Mowat.
