Footnotes

  • 1. The address was ‘Dilecto filio molero de Burgo.’ The m has been corrected to M, and the o appears to have been corrected to e, but the result is not clear. It is ‘Molerus’ in the ‘rubricelle.’
  • 2. The register had ‘mccclxxx quinto, Quinto Id. Julijanno tertio.' The ‘quinto’ is very effectually cancelled, and ‘septimo’ substituted in the margin, thus giving mccclxxx septimo, Quinto Id. Julij. Theiner, or his transcriber, has misunderstood the correction.
  • 3. On the back of the volume: ‘Inn. viii. Offic. Lib. ii.’ On the side of the original sheepskin binding, preserved at the beginning of the volume, is the contemporary ‘Secundus Officiorum domini Innocentii pape viii,’ and other contemporary notes. The back of it is missing. There are 314 ff. of text and 5 ff. of ‘rubricelle,’ which have no heading.
