5 Id. June. Lugudiac, near Poitiers. (f. 35.)	To Peter de Abyton, provost of the church of Holyhead (Castri Cubii), value 24 marks, in the diocese of Bangor. Dispensation, at the request of Edward, prince of Wales, whose clerk he is, to hold the churches of Saham, value 40 marks, and of Steeple Morden, value 65 marks, and on his being ordained priest, to hold other benefices to the value of 100 marks, the cure of souls not being neglected.

Provision of the rectory of Enstone (Ennestan), in the diocese of Lincoln, value 40 marks, in the gift of the abbot and convent of Winchcombe, in the diocese of Worcester, which he has received with the title of commendam, and licence to him to retain the fruits of that benefice wrongfully received, and to retain also the church of Rolvenden, in the diocese of Canterbury.

Dispensation, at the king's request, whose clerk he is, to hold the parish churches of Staindrop, Shitlington, Laxfeld, Hendon, Cristelton, and Rock (Aka), in the dioceses of Durham, Lincoln, Norwich, London, Coventry, and Lichfield, and Hereford, he having been licensed to hold Staindrope, Shitlington, and Hendon, together with the canonry and prebend of Aukland, on resignation of the other benefices.

Dispensation to retain it, and the chapel of Barthorp, and pensions of 2 marks from Castleacre, and 20s. from [Monkton] Farlegh, paid to him by the priors of those houses, and also one or two benefices, value 60 marks, the bishop of Chichester having given him a dispensation, when rector of St. John's, Lewes, in subdeacon's orders, and, on his resignation of that benefice, as rector of Blatchington, to pursue his studies for seven years.

Mandate to see that the loan of 1000 marks, which Robert, abbot of Bardeney, has been allowed to contract, to further his business at Rome, and of which he has received 550 marks, be paid in due time and place.
10 Kal. Aug. Poitiers. (f. 50.)	To Richard, archbishop elect of Dublin, who is engaged in the business of king Edward, and the prince of Wales. Licence to postpone his consecration for two years, and then, on leaving the Roman court, to receive it, together with the diaconate and priesthood from any two or three prelates he pleases. 3 Non. Aug. Poitiers. (f. 68.)	To William son of John de Sachillis, rector of a moiety of the church of Sadberge. He was dispensed on account of illegitimaey, and as subdeacon, and without title, rector of Hokesworth, value 10l. and also canon and prebendary of Beverley, and subsequently incumbent of Mirfeld, and of Patrington (about which last he has a suit), with the chapel of St. Nicholas. Dispensation to retain these benefices, and to enjoy their revenues hitherto wrongfully received.
	Concurrent mandate to the bishop of Chichester, and the archdeacon of Nottingham, and the master of the schools (scolastico) of Angers.
Aug. 7. Poitiers. (f. 68d.)	To Reginald de Sancto Albano, rector of Wardoboys, in the diocese of Lincoln, value 24l. Confirmation of a dispensation granted him to hold that benefice, in addition to the churches of Ripton and Stokeslegh, in the dioceses of Lincoln and York, a canonry and prebend of Southwell, and a portion of Burton [Kirk], in the diocese of York, with one other benefice; no mention having been made of the canonry and prebend in the dispensation obtained from Thomas, archbishop of York, in virtue of a faculty granted to him by Boniface VIII.
4 Id. July. Poitiers. (f. 69.)	To John de Kirkeby, canon and prebendary of St. Chad's, Shrewsbury. Dispensation to hold a benefice in addition to the churches of Northmymines, Wigton, and Godshull, with certain chapels, in the dioceses of Lincoln, Carlisle, and Winchester, held under a former dispensation, to the total value of 100l.
4 Id. July. Poitiers. (f. 69.)	To Hugh de Breousa, rector of Penebrugge, value 40 marks, and penitentiary in Hereford cathedral, who was dispensed from illegitimacy, and sucessively incumbent of Chelton and Tadmartone, value 6 marks. Licence to hold the above-named church and office.
Non. Aug. Poitiers. (f. 69.)	To John de Sandale, subdeacon, chancellor of St. Patrick's, Dublin. Dispensation, at the request of the king, whose clerk he was, and of the prince of Wales, whose clerk he is, to put off being ordained priest for five years, and to hold the said undernamed benefices to the value of 200l. he having, without papal dispensation, held the churches of Stoke, Astone, and Rekynton, in the dioceses of Coventry, Lichfield, and York, and for seven years remained in minor orders.
Ibid.	To the abbot and convent of Winchecombe. Appropriation of the church of Enstone, value 40 marks, in the diocese of Lincoln, to take effect on the resignation or death of the present rector; the church is to be served by a secular chaplain.

Dispensation, at the request of the king, whose clerk he is, to hold a portion in the church of St. George, Pontesbury, and the churches of [Nether] Dean, Ellesward, and West Retford, in the dioceses of Hereford, Lincoln, Ely, and York, value 60l. which he has held without papal dispensation, and without being ordained priest, those of Roppeledol and Assendon, in the dioceses of Lincoln and Exeter, having been resigned.
6 Kal. Mar. Pessac. (f. 76d.)	To Robert de Bardelbi, rector of the churches of Sandhurst, value 50 marks, and Dudington, value 30 marks, in the dioceses of Canterbury and Ely. Dispensation to retain those benefices, which he has hitherto held without papal dispensation.

Cassation of all proceedings taken by the archbishop of Canterbury, the prior, convent, dean, and archdeacon of Chester, the abbots of St. Augustine's and Westminster, and Master Philip Martel, canon of Chichester, in the cause heard on appeal against the abbot of Bardeney, from the date of his starting for Rome, and revocation of the suit between him and the bishop of Lincoln to the apostolic see.

To Peter de Estona, who being dispensed on account of illegitimacy, obtained the rectory of Ecleshale, in the diocese of Worcester, which he resigned, and then that of Berneye, in the diocese of Norwich, without papal dispensation. Reappointment, at the request of Thomas, cardinal of St. Sabina's, to the rectories of Warnford value 30 marks, and of Bangor, value 50 marks, in the dioceses of Winchester and Lichfield, which he obtained, being under age, not in holy orders, and not resident, as well as the canonry and prebend of Rammesbyri in Salisbury; with dispensation to retain the same.

Licence, at the king's request, for them to transfer themselves to another spot in the same parish given to them by the said king, and for a bishop, at their request, to bless and lay the first stone of the new buildings.

1307. 8 Id. Sept. Poitiers. (f. 139.)	To Raymond de Pinibus, canon of Bordeaux. Indult to enjoy for three years, being non-resident, the income of his prebends in Lincoln and Southwell, and of the church of Orpington, in the diocese of Rochester, as well as of other benefices not in England.
	Concurrent mandate to the abbot of St. Fremerius, in the diocese of Bazas, and two others named.
8 Id. Sept. Poitiers. (f. 140.)	To Raymond de Pinibus, canon of Bordeaux. Absolution from the sentence of excommunication incurred for having, for fear of offending the king of England, made over to him a subsidy from the revenues of the prebend of Southwell, to which he had been collated by the said king.

Mandate for the sequestration of the goods of the Ricciardi and their fellows, merchants of Lucca, who are in debt to the Roman Church; two members of the firm, Adiutus Rubeipili, and Vannus his son, are said to hold much property in England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland.
