Mandate to excommunicate those, their names being unknown, who attacked Roger de Brinkhil, on his return from the Roman court, as he was passing through the diocese of Hereford, robbed him of of letters making provision to his son John of a benefice, for which he had petitioned in forma pauperum, took from him 38s. 5½d. and beat him.

9 Kal. June. Avignon. (f. 34d.)	To Master Thomas Fastolf, of Yarmouth. Reservation, at the request of John, cardinal of St. Theodore's, whose clerk he is, of a benefice with cure of souls, in the gift of the bishop and chapter of Ely.
	Concurrent mandate to the bishop of Winchester, William called ‘de Mari,’ canon of Chichester, and another named.
7 Kal. Mar. Avignon. (f. 64.)	To Stephen Criketot. Provision, at queen Isabella's request, of a canonry of Salisbury, with reservation of a prebend; notwithstanding that he has the chaplaincy of Little Makley, in the diocese of Hereford.
	Concurrent mandate to the abbot of Dore, the archdeacon of Hereford, and another named.

1326. 15 Kal. June. Avignon. (f. 72.)	To the archbishop of Canterbury, to the bishop, and to Master Hugh de Engolisma, canon of London. Intimation that the pope's intention in ordering them to absolve Robert de Baldok, archdeacon of Middlesex, from the sentence of excommunication, was not that there should be restored to him the prebend and its fruits which Galhardus, cardinal of St. Lucy's in Silice, had recovered from him, but that he might be placed in a state to accept a benefice. Whatever has been done beyond this is declared null.
9 Kal. June. Avignon. (f. 85.)	To Ralph de Hinglin (Hingham). Provision of a canonry of St. Laurence's, Romsey, with reservation of a prebend; notwithstanding that he is rector of Westdene, in the diocese of Salisbury, value 10l.

1326. 10 Kal. July. Avignon. (f. 112d.)	To the abbot of Buckland, the prior of Berlysche, in the diocese of Exeter, and Benedict de Paston, papal chaplain, canon of Exeter. Mandate to cite before the pope Matthew, prior of Plympton, who refused to admit John de Holinp as canon of the same, tore up the papal letters ordering them to receive him, and threw them in his face.
13 Kal. May. Avignon. (f. 434d.)	To Gilbert de Yarwellis, already dispensed on account of illegitimacy, and rector of Syberton. Reservation of a benefice in the gift of the bishop of Ely, value 15 marks; on obtaining this he is to resign Syberton.
	Concurrent mandate to the bishop of Norwich, the archdeacon of Winchester, and Walter de Yarwellis, canon of York.

Commission and mandate to grant a dispensation to William son of Geoffrey le Clerc of Sibthorp, and Alina [daughter of] Roger de Botelesford, knight who are related in the fourth degree, to remain in the marriage they have contracted, declaring their past and future offspring legitimate.

4 Kal. Aug. Avignon. (f. 281.)	To Renaud de Cusanicia. Reservation of the canonry and prebend of Corinham, in Lincoln, void by the death of William de Estaniaco, who was about to make an exchange with William de Bonovillario, provost of Lausanne, but died five days before his resignation, and on hearing this Bonovillario resigned the said canonry and prebend into which he was inducted.
	Concurrent mandate to the bishop and dean of London, and another named.
Kal. Aug. Avignon. (f. 289d.)	To queen Isabella. Indult that eight of her clerks shall enjoy the fruits of their benefices, being non-resident, for a further period of five years.

Provision of a canonry of Bosham, in the diocese of Chichester, with reservation of prebend; notwithstanding that he is rector of Dalingho, in the diocese of Norwich, and has a canonry and prebend of London, and a canonry of Chichester, with expectation of a prebend.
	Concurrent mandate to the chancellor and treasurer of Chichester and another named.
2 Non. Nov. Avignon. (f. 378d.)	To John Ellerker. The like provision of a canonry and prebend of York; notwithstanding that he is rector of Wivelingham (Willingham), in the diocese of Ely, and has a canonry of Beverley, with expectation of a prebend.

10 Kal. Aug. Avignon. (f. 392d.)	To the prior provincial of the Friars Preachers in England. Mandate to keep under obedience and correct Thomas Dunkevid of his order, whom the pope has made papal chaplain, and who considers himself thereby freed from observance of the rule.
