1329. 2 Kal. Oct. Avignon. (f. 12d.)	To Edmund, son of the late king Edward, earl of Kent, and Margaret, countess of Kent. Licence to commute their vow to visit Santiago [de Compostella]. Edmund's mother, queen Margaret, made a vow to visit the same, but died soon after making it, whereupon her son took her vow on himself; but as he is in Gascony and has learned that plots are laid against him in Spain he is unable to go there. The expenses of the journey are to be given to Santiago, and Edmund's and Margaret's confessor is to impose a penance.

6 Id. Oct. Avignon. (f. 25d.)	To Richard de Mauleverer, who when under twenty-five years of age obtained the rectory of Welle, in the diocese of York, value 20 marks, on the presentation of Master Robert de Nevilla, and has held it for seven years and a half. He is rehabilitated, and the fruits received are remitted to him, but he is to resign the church.

5 Non. Oct. Avignon. (f. 78d.)	To John, son of Richard earl of Arundel, licentiate in civil and canon law. Provision of a canonry of London, with reservation of a prebend; notwithstanding that to-day is given him a canonry of Salisbury with reservation of a prebend, and that he has canonries and prebends of Lichfield, Chichester, and Lincoln, and the free royal chapel of Tychull, and is rector of Arnecliffe and Westburne, in the dioceses of York and Chichester, there being a perpetual vicar in Westburne, and has a canonry of York, with expectation of a prebend, having held in the said church the prebend of Norduenbald, which the pope had reserved to Ursus, son of Neapoleo Orsini of Rome (de fdiis Ursi de urbe.)

13 Kal. Nov. Avignon. (f. 93.)	To Ralph, lord of Wodehalle, knight, of the diocese of York. Indult that his confessor shall give him plenary remission at the hour of death. Any satisfaction that he may have to make must be made by him if he live, or by his heirs after his death; and he is not to take advantage of this indult to commit sins to which it will not apply.

Commission and mandate at king David's request, to confirm the appropriation made by Robert, late bishop of Glasgow, to the abbot and convent of SS, Mary and Wynnin, Kilwynin, of the perpetual vicarages of Kilmernoc and Beth, in the diocese of Glasgow, of their patronage. 10 Kal. Mar. Avignon. (f. 295.)	Extension of the power given to the bishops of Hereford, Ely and Durham to appropriate to Henry, bishop of Lincoln, two parish churches to the value of 200 marks. Three churches may be appropriated, but the total value is to remain the same.
19 Kal. Feb. Avignon. (f. 317d.)	Simon de Monteacuto, canon of York, is made papal chaplain.
2 Id. Jan. Avignon. (f. 317d.)	To the bishop of Worcester. Mandate, at the king's request, to appropriate to the abbot and convent of Eynsham the parish church of Tetbury of their patronage, value 24l. they having received from the rector of the same a yearly pension of 40s. A perpetual vicar is to be appointed.

Commission and mandate to appropriate to the abbot and convent of St. Augustine's, Canterbury, the churches of Wyllesberghe and Stone in Oxene, and Borewaremoshe (Burmarsh), in the diocese of Canterbury, value together 46l. to enable them to support four monks studying theology at Oxford.
