Non. Jan. Avignon. (f. 1.)	Appointment of John to the see of Cork, void by the translation of Walter to that of Cashel. John when rector of Ardwyn in the diocese of Down was elected to that see, void by the death of Thomas, and confirmed and consecrated by the archbishop of Armagh, in ignorance that the appointment was reserved to the pope, who placed there Ralph.
	Concurrent letters to the chapter; to the clergy, and to the people of the diocese; to the archbishop of Cashel, and to the king.
Kal. Mar. Avignon. (f. 15.)	To Anibaldus, cardinal of St. Laurence's in Lucina. Commission and mandate to receive the resignation by Archibald de Petragoris of his canonry and archdeaconry of Lincoln, and to assign it to Master Hugh de Camera; thereby terminating the suit between them touching the same.
4 Id. Mar. Avignon. (f. 20.)	To John Trillek, who being in his twentieth year has obtained canonries of Bromyard and Westbury, in the dioceses of Hereford and Worcester, and a prebend of Hereford, of which he has been deprived. Dispensation to accept a benefice with cure of souls.
4 Id. April. Avignon. (f. 22d.)	To the abbot of St. John Baptist's, Colchester, the archdeacon of Colchester, and another named. Mandate to cause Matilda de Bionie, of the diocese of London, to be received as a nun by the abbess and convent of Barking.
Kal. May. Avignon. (f. 23d.)	To Master Itherius de Concoreto, canon of Salisbury. Commission and mandate to appropriate to the abbot and convent of St. Albans, who owe 5000 marks, the church of Appilton, in the diocese of York, of their patronage, value 40l. a perpetual vicar's portion being reserved.

Provision of a canonry of Hereford, with reservation of a prebend; notwithstanding that he formerly obtained a canonry and prebend in the same, and has canonical and prebendal portions in Bromierde, Hereford, and Westbury, in the diocese of Worcester.
	Concurrent mandate to the archdeacon of Worcester, Thomas Trillek, canon of Wells, and another named.
Kal. April. Avignon. (f. 73d.)	To Peter, cardinal of St. Stephen's on the Cælian. Provision of the treasurership of York, about which there was a suit between Francis Caetani, papal chaplain, and Walter de Bedewynde. After several hearings Walter died pending his appeal to the pope; and on Francis proposing to marry, his benefices were reserved by the pope. William de la Mare is said to hold the office, but notwithstanding this, or if Francis has placed his suit in the hands of the archbishop, or any other technical impediment, Peter is to be made treasurer of York.
	Concurrent mandate to Robert, bishop elect of Salisbury and two others named.
1330. Id. June. Avignon. (f. 88.)	To Peter Guinaberti. Provision of the rectory of Fischelak, in the diocese of York, void by the resignation of Peter Vaurelli.

4 Id. Mar. Avignon. (f. 93d.)	To Richard de Thormertone, of the diocese of Worcester. Reservation of a benefice in the gift of the abbess and convent of St. Mary's, Winchester, value 20 marks with cure of souls, or 15 without it; notwithstanding that he expects a benefice in the gift of the bishop of Worcester.
	Concurrent mandate to Edmund de Bereford, canon of Salisbury, the official of the same, and another named.
8 Kal. Feb. Avignon. (f. 109d.)	To John de Neuton, M.A. of the diocese of Norwich. Reservation of a benefice in the gift of the abbot and convent of St. Edmunds, value 20 marks, or if a parish church 25 marks; notwithstanding that he holds the church of Hopton, which he is to resign.
	Concurrent mandate to the prior of Westacre, Alan de Ginesburgh, canon of York, and another named.

Decree confirming his appointment by the pope to the archdeaconry of Nottingham, on its voidance by the consecration of John bishop of Exeter; notwithstanding that he had canonries and prebends of York and Salisbury, and expected benefices out of England; but on obtaining these he is to resign the archdeaconry.
3 Id. April. Avignon. (f. 172.)	To Matilda de Bionie, of the diocese of London, who, on her way to visit the Holy Sepulchre, Santiago [de Compostella], and Assisi, was, after leaving Valence, upset out of a boat on the Rhone, when some of her fellow-pilgrims were drowned, and her money lost so that she could not prosecute her pilgrimage. Dispensation to enter some convent instead of fulfilling her purpose.
12 Kal. July. Avignon. (f. 183d.)	To William Scovile, of the diocese of Bath, the son of a priest. Dispensation, at the request of the king, whose clerk he is, to be ordained and hold a benefice.

Commission and mandate to grant a licence to Henry, earl of Lancaster and Leicester, to found a hospital in his town of Leicester for poor persons and pilgrims, to be served by four or five chaplains, and to appropriate to it the church of Ircester, of his patronage, value 20l.

2 Kal. July. Avignon. (f. 237.)	To the bishop of Killaloe, the abbot of Rathtuoyndhi, and the guardian of the Friars Minors of Clare, in the dioceses of Ardfert and Annadown. Commission and mandate to ascertain the value of the fruits, rents, and profits of the churches of Tuam, Annadown, Achonry, and Kilmacduagh, and their distance from one another, and whether, according to the late king's petition, they should be united, and to make a full report to the pope. Thomas bishop of Annadown has stated in consistory that under pretext of such union he was deprived of his see by archbishop Malachy.
6 Kal. Aug. Avignon. (f. 251.)	To Master Itherius de Concoreto, canon of Salisbury. Commission and mandate to hear the statements of the abbot and convent of St. Augustine's, and of the archbishop of Canterbury, respectively and severally, touching the privileges and exemptions of the said monastery, and to decide the matter between the parties.
1330. 11 Kal. Aug. Avignon. (f. 271d.)	To John Walewyn, D.C.L. canon of Salisbury. Indult that his confessor shall give him plenary remission at the hour of death.

The like provision, at the request of queen Philippa, whose chancellor and treasurer he is, of a canonry and prebend of York, notwithstanding that he is rector of Wylugby, in the diocese of Lincoln, and has a canonry of Lincoln, with expectation of a prebend.
