The patronage of the church, value 20 marks, was transferred from the Hospitallers to the said warden and chaplains, and the whole was confirmed by William, archbishop of York.

The foundation charter is dated Southwark, 8 Id. Oct. 1331. The bishop's letters are dated Worcester, 30 July 1336; those of the archbishop are dated Leicester, 1 October 1336. Master John Geraudi was rector of the parish church, on the south side of which the chapel was built.
