1407. 10 Kal. Oct. Siena. (f. 18d.)	To Anthony, bishop of Bologna. Grant in commendam to him, who is the pope's chamberlain, in order that he may more decently maintain his state, of the archdeaconry of Lincoln, value not exceeding 600 marks, which became void and therefore reserved to Boniface IX by his promotion of Henry, bishop of Bath and Wells and the consecration of that bishop performed by order of that pope, who died without disposing of the archdeaconry, as did also Innocent VII. Personam tuam.
	Concurrent mandate to the archbishop of York and the bishops of Chiron (Kyronen.) [in Crete] and London. Personam venerabilis fratris. (De mandato.)
1406. 14 Kal. Jan. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 25d.)	To the bishop of London. Mandate, as below. Innocent VII, on the voidance and consequent reservation of the deanery of York, a major elective dignity with cure, value not exceeding 700 marks, by his promotion, and the consecration performed by his order, of Thomas, bishop of Durham, ordered, on 5 Id. Aug. anno 2 [1406], a certain judge to collate and assign it to John Prophete, canon of York; notwithstanding that he held the canonries and prebends of Langtoft in York, Netherbury in Salisbury, Leghton Busard in Lincoln and Murton Magna in Hereford, a perpetual benefice called the portion or prebend of Overhall in Ledebury in the diocese of Hereford, and the parish church of Ringewod in the diocese of Winchester, value altogether likewise not exceeding 700 marks, and that he had lately had papal dispensation to hold for life two benefices with cure, even if one were a dignity with cure and elective, major in a cathedral or metropolitan, or principal and unique in a collegiate church, and to resign them for exchange or simply, as often as seemed good to him, and hold instead two similar or dissimilar incompatible benefices, the said pope requiring him, upon obtaining the deanery, to resign the said benefice. Inasmuch as pope Innocent died before his letters were drawn up, the pope hereby decrees that they shall have force from the date mentioned, and orders the above bishop to collate and assign to John, if found fit in Latin, the deanery. 1407. 9 Kal. Feb. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 28d.)	To the bishop of Verona, Anthony elect of Modoni (or Methone, Mothonen.), and the rector (plebanus plebis) of St. Nicholas's Venice (de Veneciis) in the diocese of Castello. Mandate to collate and assign to John, [son] of Henry Busaco of Venice, priest, of the diocese of Castello, the archpriestship of St. John Baptist, Quinzano, in the diocese of Verona, a principal dignity with cure and elective, value not exceeding 100 gold ducats, void by the death of John Blech (i.e. Black) of England. Vite ac morum.
2 Kal. April. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 33d.)	To the abbot of St. Mary's Jerpoint (de Jeriponte), the prior of Kenlys in the diocese of Ossory, and Thomas Cardyffe, canon of Ossory. Mandate, at the petition of Henry, bishop of Tusculum on behalf of Patrick Fox alias Raghat, clerk, of the diocese of Ossory, a member of his household, who has for many years studied canon and civil law at Oxford and Cambridge, to summon Michael de la Feld, sometime dean of Ossory, and if he find the facts to be as stated, to collate and assign to Patrick the deanery, value not exceeding 30 marks, even if it be a major elective dignity with cure, void because Michael struck (percussit) the late bishop John, although he still wrongfully detains it; notwithstanding that the pope has lately made provision to Patrick of the canonry and prebend of Culene in Cloyne, value not exceeding 7 marks. 7 Id. Nov. Siena. (f. 49d.)	To the archbishop of Armagh, the bishop of Veszprém (Vesprimien.) and the archdeacon of Armagh. Mandate to collate and assign to Eugenius Macuicamiranydhomhnaill, canon of Raphoe, who is, he says, of noble birth, and a scholar in canon and civil law, the deanery of Derry, value not exceeding 30 marks, void and reserved under John XXII's constitution Execrabilis, because the late William Mackathmayl, holding the rectory with cure of Furnay in the diocese of Derry, obtained and held therewith for a month and more without dispensation the said deanery, an elective major dignity with cure; notwithstanding that Eugenius has been admitted by authority of the ordinary as a canon of Raphoe. 1406. 14 Kal. Jan. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 58.)	To William Cullyng, rector of Oppenton Pyne in the diocese of Exeter. Decree as above, f. 25d, and for the same reason, giving retrospective force to the following reservation, dispensation etc. Innocent VII, on the expected voidance of the parish church of Clyve in the diocese of Worcester, through his promotion and the then approaching consecration of Nicholas, [now] bishop, then elect of London, reserved it to Thomas Hendeman, priest, of the diocese of Exeter [p. 89]. The same pope, on 13 Kal. Aug. anno 2 [1406], reserved to Cullyng Hendeman's deanery, a principal dignity, even if it were elective and with cure, of the church of St. Karentoc in the said diocese, value not exceeding 60 marks, which was to become void upon the above reservation taking effect, notwithstanding that Cullyng held, by grant and dispensation of the apostolic see, a canonry and prebend and the provostship, which is a dignity with cure and unique (curata et unica dignitas, cf. below, Reg. Lat. CXXX, f. 99d), of St. Thomas the Martyr's, Glasney, and the parish church of Oppenton Pyne, value altogether likewise not exceeding 60 marks, that he had lately had papal dispensation to hold for life with his said provostship his said church and one other benefice with cure, even if a perpetual vicarage or an elective dignity with cure, major or principal and unique respectively, personatus or office, in a metropolitan, cathedral or collegiate church, and to resign church and such benefice for exchange or otherwise, as often as he pleased, and hold instead two similar or dissimilar benefices incompatible with his provostship, and that pope Innocent dispensed him to hold the said deanery for one year with his provostship and church, after which year he was to resign the church. Mandate to collate and assign to Patrick Ouuiyregelaich, scholar, of the diocese of Derry—who has lately had papal dispensation, as the son of a priest and an unmarried woman, to be promoted to all, even holy orders and hold a benefice even with cure—after he has been made a clerk, the rectory of Leacphadraig in the said diocese, value not exceeding 4 marks, void by the death of John Maccalyn. Vite etc. (Pro deo.)

Mandate to collate and assign to Donald Macgillavanach, clerk, of the diocese of Elphin, the perpetual vicarage of Disertkcalayd in the diocese of Kilmacduagh, value not exceeding 3 marks, void and reserved under John XXII's constitution Execrabilis because Magonius Ocayg, holding the rectory of Killenayn in the same diocese, obtained and held therewith [without dispensation] the said vicarage. Mandate to collate and assign to Peter Ochonaych, clerk, of the diocese of Tuam—who has lately had papal dispensation, as the son of an unmarried man and an unmarried woman, to be promoted to all, even holy orders and hold a benefice even with cure—the perpetual vicarage of Dwnmor in the said diocese, of the patronage of laymen, value not exceeding 8 marks, so long void by the death of William Setmon that its collation has by the Lateran statutes lapsed to the apostolic see. Mandate to collate and assign to Laurence Omyelir, priest, of the diocese of Killaloe—who has lately had papal dispensation, as the son of a priest and an unmarried woman, to be promoted to all, even holy orders and hold a benefice even with cure—if found fit in Latin, the perpetual vicarage of Cuynchy in the said diocese, value not exceeding 8 marks, void because John Oroddayn held it for a year and more without being ordained priest and without dispensation.
