Mandate to collate and assign to Philip Macgrabuartyagh, deacon, of the diocese of Raphoe, the perpetual vicarage, value not exceeding 6 marks, of Teachbyn in the said diocese, void because Oddo Macsobny held it for a year and more without having himself promoted to holy orders and without dispensation; notwithstanding that the pope has this day made him provision of a canonry with expectation of a prebend of Raphoe.Vite ac morum. 1405. 3 Kal. March. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 13d.)	To the dean, and Thomas Macrayth and John Olonngayn, canons, of Killaloe. Mandate to collate and assign to Ruadricus Odallayn, deacon, perpetual beneficiary [called portionary] in the church of Kilfenora, the perpetual vicarages, value not exceeding 6 marks, of the united parish churches of Bunrate and Dru[m] laygill, in the diocese of Killaloe, void because Thady Maccayg held them for a year and more without having himself ordained priest and without dispensation; although Richard Okaellayg, who is to be removed, unduly holds possession of them; notwithstanding that Ruadricus holds a certain perpetual [benefice called a] portion, without cure, in the church of Kilfenora, and that the pope has recently ordered provision to be made to him of the treasurership of the same, a nonmajor dignity with cure, the value of both of which does not exceed 6 marks. Id. March. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 16.)	To the treasurer, and Maurice Omuyrgissa and John Olongayn, canons, of Kilfenora. Mandate to collate and assign to Florence Olochlaynd, archdeacon of Kilfenora, who, he says, is of royal race in the realm of Ireland, and has studied for years canon and civil law, the perpetual vicarage, value not exceeding 5 marks, of Carudnahymygan, in the diocese of Kilfenora, void because the late John Macgorrnaystar held it for a year and more without having himself ordained priest; although Dermit Macgirrnaystar, clerk, of the said diocese, who is to be removed, unduly holds possession; notwithstanding that Florence holds the said archdeaconry, a major dignity with cure, value not exceeding 10 marks, and a certain perpetual portion without cure, accustomed to be assigned for daily distributions as a perpetual benefice, value not exceeding 1 mark, both in the church of Kilfenora, that the pope has recently ordered provision to be made to him of a benefice with or without cure in the gift of the bishop, and has by other letters dispensed him to receive and hold such benefice with cure for two years with his archdeaconry. He is hereby further dispensed to receive and hold the said vicarage with his archdeaconry. As soon as, by virtue of these presents, he obtains the vicarage, the aforesaid letters, as far as regards a benefice with cure only, shall be null and void. Nobilitas generis, vite etc.
19 Kal. Feb. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 16d.)	To the precentor, and Donald Okenedy and Eugenius Omanarkayn, canons, of Killaloe. Mandate to collate and assign to James Oflandura, clerk, of the diocese of Limerick, the perpetual vicarage of Kylleibaran in the diocese of Killaloe, value not exceeding 8 marks, void because Maurice Ocormackayn held it for a year and more without having himself ordained priest and without dispensation; although David Ocormakayn, clerk, of the diocese of Killaloe, who is to be removed, unduly detains possession. 5 Id. Jan. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 33.)	To the bishops of Tuy and Kilfenora, and the dean of Killaloe. Mandate to collate and assign to Nicholas Macconmara, rector of Kyllsyntarayn (sic), in the diocese of Limerick—who has studied canon law for two years and who lately received papal dispensation, as the son of an unmarried man and an unmarried woman, to be promoted to all, even holy orders and hold a benefice even with cure—the parish churches, called rectories, value together not exceeding 35 marks, of Bonrate and Cwnky in the diocese of Killaloe, which, as well as those of Tradey and Okassyn in the same diocese, have become void by the death of Matthew Macconmara; notwithstanding that Nicholas holds the said church of Kyllsyntanayn (sic), value not exceeding 2 marks. He is hereby dispensed to receive and hold Bonrate and Cwnky together for life, notwithstanding his said illegitimacy and the fact that the said Matthew was his father and was the immediate possessor of Bonrate and Cwnky. As soon as Nicholas obtains possession of them, he is to resign Kyllsyntanayn (sic). Vite etc.
4 Non. Feb. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 33d.)	To the same. Mandate to collate and assign to Thomas Okeallaygh Obreggy, perpetual vicar of Tua[y]mfynnlacha in the diocese of Killaloe, priest—who lately received papal dispensation, as the son of a priest and an unmarried woman, to be promoted to all, even holy orders and hold a benefice [with cure]—the parish church, called rectory, value not exceeding 16 marks, of Kyllchurnayn in the diocese of Limerick, of the patronage of a layman, so long void by the death of James Ograda that its collation has lapsed to the apostolic see; notwithstanding that he holds the said perpetual vicarage of Tuaymfynnlacha, value not exceeding 5 marks. Thomas is hereby dispensed to hold church and vicarage together for life. Vite etc. [See above, Reg. CXX, f. 32d.]
1404. 5 Id. Dec. St. Peter's Rome. (f. 58d.)	To the bishops of Tuy and Killala, and Paul Osomochan, canon of Elphin. Mandate to collate and assign to Dermit Maginbun, priest, of the diocese of Elphin, the perpetual vicarage of Killeasgribroin in the said diocese, value not exceeding 4 marks, void by the death of Cristinus Macgillabuygi. 3 Id. Nov. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 96d.)	To the bishop of Annadown. Mandate as below. Boniface IX on 14 Kal. Nov. anno 14 [1403], upon the voidance through the resignation made by Robert Marchfordi before notary and witnesses at the apostolic see, and the consequent reservation to the said see, of the parish church of Alyngton in the diocese of Lincoln, value not exceeding 60 marks, ordered it to be collated and assigned to William Whytewell, priest, of the diocese of Coventry. Seeing that on account of the death of pope Boniface his letters were not drawn up, the pope, with the intention that they shall take effect from the said date, orders the above bishop, if he find William fit in Latin, to collate and assign to him the said church. 2 Id. Dec. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 118d.)	To John Otybayn. Collation and provision to him, a priest, of the perpetual vicarage of Cluany in the diocese of Killaloe, value not exceeding 6 marks, which became void and reserved to the apostolic see by the death there of John Russus Ograda during the lifetime of Boniface IX, who died without disposing of it, and which is still reserved to the present pope by virtue of his continued reservation of all benefices reserved and not disposed of by his said predecessor. Vite etc.
	Concurrent mandate to the archbishop of Tuam, the bishop of Kilfenora and the dean of Kilmacduagh. Vite etc. (Pro Deo.)
4 Id. Dec. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 134.)	To Philip Newton. Collation and provision of the parish church, value not exceeding 20 marks, of St. Nicholas Oloff, London, void and reserved to the apostolic see by the death there of Roger Burstede; notwithstanding that he holds the perpetual vicarage, value also not exceeding 20 marks, of Llanteilovaure in the diocese of St. Davids, which, upon his obtaining St. Nicholas's, he is to resign. Vite etc.
	Concurrent mandate to the bishop of Tuy and the archdeacons of London and Hereford. Vite etc.
3 Id. Nov. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 153d.)	To Thomas Weston, canon of Howden in the diocese of York, licentiate of civil law. Decree that the collation and provision made to him by Boniface IX on 9 Kal. June anno 15 [1404] of the canonry and prebend of Berneby in Howden shall take effect from that date, notwithstanding that on account of the death of that pope the letters were not made out. Pope Boniface —upon its being set forth to him on behalf of Thomas that upon the voidance and reservation to the apostolic see by the promotion, made by that pope, of Henry to the see of Bath and Wells, and his consecration under mandate of the same pope, the prior and chapter of Durham, to whom the presentation immemorially belongs, perhaps in ignorance of the reservation, presented Thomas, also perhaps ignorant, to Richard archbishop of York who, similarly ignorant, instituted him—the presention and institution being thus null, and the canonry and prebend being still void, made collation and provision thereof, value not exceeding 36 marks, to Thomas, notwithstanding that he held the archdeaconry of Durham, a dignity, the canonry and prebend of Grendall in York, the parish church of Seggefelde, and the wardenship of the hospital of Gretham in the diocese of Durham, value altogether not exceeding 430 marks. 1405. 2 Non. Feb. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 191d.)	To the bishops of Tuy and Clogher, and the prior of Lowth in the diocese of Armagh. Mandate to collate and assign to Philip Mackeogayn, clerk, of the diocese of Armagh, the canonry of Armagh and prebend, called the rectory, of Cluainfiaghna therein, value not exceeding 15 marks, void by Benedict Oculean's obtaining, by authority of the ordinary, the canonry and prebend of Balicluyg in the same. 2 Id. Jan. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 216d.)	To the bishop of Tuy, the abbot of the monastery of Corcomroe (de Petrafertili) in the diocese of Kilfenora and the treasurer of Kilfenora. Mandate to collate and assign to Florence Olochloind, canon of Kilfenora, the still void archdeaconry of the same, a major non-elective dignity with cure, value not exceeding 15 marks, which, on its voidance by the death of Donald Ychonchubair, he obtained by collation and provision of bishop Patrick, by his ordinary authority. His recent petition contained that he doubts whether the collation holds good. The collation is to be made notwithstanding that Florence holds a canonry and prebend of Kilfenora, and a certain perpetual portion without cure accustomed to be governed by a canon of the same, the value of both not exceeding 10 marks.Vite etc.
1404. 3 Id. Nov. St. Peter's, Rome. (f. 225.)	To the bishop of Tuy, the prior of Osney and the archdeacon of Lincoln. Mandate to collate and assign the canonry and prebend of Cropri alias Cropridi in Lincoln to John Catryk, treasurer of Lincoln, on whose behalf it was set forth to Boniface IX that on their voidance by the death of Thomas Buteler he obtained them by collation and provision of bishop Henry, by his ordinary authority, and that he doubted whether the collation held good; and to whom that pope, on 4 Non. April anno 15 [1404], granted collation of the same, being still void as above, and value not exceeding 120 marks; notwithstanding that he held the treasurership, a dignity with cure, and the parish church of Crek in the diocese of Lincoln, value together not exceeding 300 marks, and that he had received papal dispensation to hold them together for life and to resign them, simply or for exchange, and hold instead two similar or dissimilar incompatible benefices. On account of the death of pope Boniface his said letters were not made out, which letters, the pope hereby decrees, shall take effect from their said date. Racioni congruit.
Ibid. (f. 257d.)	To the bishops of Tuy, Norwich and Chichester. Mandate to collate and assign the parish church of Hoggesthorp in the diocese of Lincoln to Eudo la Zouch, archdeacon of Huntyndon, D.C.L., on whose behalf it was set forth to Boniface IX that the exchange desired by him of his church of Midelton alias Milton in the diocese of Ely, and Thomas Kirkebryde of his said church of Hoggesthorp, was carried out, by his ordinary authority, by Henry bishop of Lincoln, who had power from John bishop of Ely, and that Eudo doubted whether bishop Henry's collation and provision to him held good; and to whom that pope, on 4 Non. April anno 15 [1404], granted collation of Hoggesthorp, being still void by the resignation of Kirkebryde, and value not exceeding 120 marks; notwithstanding that he held a canonry and prebend and the archdeaconry of Huntyndon in Lincoln, a non-major dignity with cure, value together not exceeding 260 marks, and that he had lately received, before the said exchange, papal dispensation to hold the archdeaconry for life, together with another benefice with cure, even if a dignity, major in a metropolitan or cathedral, or principal in a collegiate church, and elective, personatus or office [the text is here corrupt], and to resign both, simply or for exchange, and hold instead two similar or dissimilar incompatible benefices.
