To Gabriel, cardinal priest of St. Clement's. Motu proprio reservation of the archdeaconry of Durham, a major elective dignity with cure, value not exceeding 350 marks, about to be void by the promotion, made this day by the pope, of John, elect of Rochester, to that see [f. 210d] and by his approaching consecration. He is hereby dispensed to hold it with St. Clement's and his other benefices. Dum exquisitam tue.

Provision to him, a Benedictine monk of St. Stephen's, Caen, in the diocese of Bayeux, master of theology, of the Benedictine monastery of Saint-Vandrille (Sancti Wandregisili) in the diocese of Rouen, which, on its voidance and consequent reservation by the death of John, a member of the papal court and referendary of the present pope, at Schaffhausen (Schafhusa) during the transfer of the court from Constance to Geneva, the pope granted in commendam to the late John, bishop of Bayeux. Inter solicitudines.

Mandate to make inquiry as to the merits of William Ogillamyn, canon of the Premonstratensian abbey of Holy Trinity, Tuam, immediately subject, priest, and if found fit, to make provision to him of the said abbey, value not exceeding 7 marks sterling, worth 28 gold florins of the camera, void by the death of James. He is to cause him to be blessed by a catholic bishop, who is to receive his oath of fealty to the pope, and send it, as usual. Ex suscepte seruitutis.

On its voidance by the death of John, John XXIII, to whose obedience those parts belonged, made provision thereof to the late Donald Mackamail, priest, of the diocese of Clogher, the provision being for that turn reserved to the said pope; and the see has become void by the recent death of the said Donald, who had not possession and was not consecrated, and during whose life it was reserved by the present pope. Mandate to make inquiry as to the merits of Dermit Olelobair, monk of the Cistercian abbey of St. Mary, Leix (de Legedei), in the diocese of Leighlin. the son of a priest and an unmarried woman, and if he find him fit, to make provision to him of the said abbey, value not exceeding 10 marks, void by the resignation of the late John, monk, then abbot, thereof, to David, abbot of Baltinglass (de Valle salutis), of the same order and in the said diocese, the father-abbot of Leix. He is to grant to Dermit, who is hereby dispensed on account of his said illegitimacy, faculty to be blessed by any catholic bishop, who is to receive his oath of fealty to the pope, and send it as usual. Provision to him, rector of Lyn in the diocese of Meath, priest, of the see of Leighlin which, on account of his age and weakness, bishop Richard lately with consent of the apostolic see resigned, as far as was possible, before a notary public and witnesses, which he has recently resigned by his proctor Donatus Odeoragain, clerk, of the diocese of Leighlin, to Anthony, bishop of Porto, who had verbal mandate from the pope to receive it, and which is thereby void at the apostolic see and therefore reserved. Inter cetera.
