(a) Exemplification and confirmation of the following letters of John XXIII about the condemnation of the works of John Wycleff (i) Ad perp. rei mem. In generali concilio, dated at St. Peter's, Rome, 4 Non. Feb. anno 3 [1413, in Cocquelines, Bullarium Romanum, tom. III, pars ii (Rome, 1741), p. 416; Raynaldi Annales, an. 1413, § 1; see Cal. Papal Letters, vol. VI, pp. 148 note 2 and 174]; (ii) the letters executory thereof, Nuper in generali concilio, dated at St. Peter's, Rome, 6 Id. Feb. anno 3, and addressed to archbishops and bishops, and to [bishops] elect, abbots etc. and other prelates, and to inquisitors of heresy. (b) Exemplification and confirmation of the condemnations by the Council of Constance (i) Ad perp. rei mem. Fidem catholicam, of the 45 articles of John Wycleff [Labbe, Concilia, ed. Mansi, vol. XXVII (Venice, 1784), col. 632]; (ii) In nomine etc. amen. Cum in nonnullis mundi partibus, of the heresy of the Utraquists [ibid. col. 727]; (iii) Ad perp. rei mem. Quia teste veritate, of the 30 articles of John Huss [ibid. col. 752]. (c) Exemplification and confirmation of the declaration, Presens sacrosancta synodus, by the Council that safe-conducts granted by secular princes to heretics or those suspect of heresy are not to be observed [ibid. col. 799], and of the condemnation, In nomini domini amen. Christus deus et saluator noster [ibid. col. 894] of Jerome of Prague. Ad perp. rei mem. In eminentis apostolice dignitatis.
