ADDENDA.

[? 1660–1667.] John Braman to Sir William Batten. I am employed as locksmith of Woolwich and Deptford yards. It being two years since I received any money, I am now in great want for the supply of my family and to discharge my engagements which I was forced to contract for supply of necessaries for his Majesty's stores. You granted me a bill of imprest, but I had no order for payment of the same, although I have long waited and thereby took cold and now lie lame. I pray you to grant your order for the speedy payment of the said bill of imprest for my present supply. [S.P. Supplementary 136, No. 656.]
