June 1. 25. Copy of survey of the manor of Chakendon, Oxford, by John Cupper, Feodary there.

26. Archbp. Parker to Cecill. Particulars of a conversation which he has had with M. de Gonnor, the French Ambassador, on the subject of religion, and state of the Church in England.
June 7. 27. Marq. of Winchester to same. Sends minutes of letters for the North. Survey of the castles of Norham, Wark, and Harbottle necessary. Has sent a book of the certificates of five bishops relative to void benefices within their dioceses. Has written to the Bishop of Durham.
June 10. 28. The Council to the Sheriff of Kent. Complaints of the nonattendance of the gentlemen of Kent on the entry of the French Ambassador. Commands the Sheriff to see that better attendance be given on his return. Lord Abergavenny is appointed specially to attend him.
June 21. 29. Account of various sums of money received by Wm. Cooke, for the use of the young Earl of Oxford.
June 22. 30. The Queen to Marq. Winchester. To permit subjects of the French King to import wines and woad in their own vessels, notwithstanding the statute to the contrary.
June 24. 31. Note of the charges of felling and preparing timber for the flooring of the church in God's House; the Hospital at Portsmouth.
June 27. 32. Order in Council permitting French subjects to import wine or woad into the realm; to export cottons, friezes, and north country cloths, &c.
