Jan. 22 Letters patent by same appointing John Bolle (Bowles, Bolles) one of His Majesty's waiters in London port, loco Samuel Phelipps, lately deceased. "This fiat was first for Mr. Bowles, then for Mr. Whaley and then Mr. Bolles agayne." Ibid.
