the Receiver of First Fruits remained unsatisfied [by reason of said
arrears not coming in to satisfy same]. The persons to whom the
said tallies are payable have again represented to us the great necessities
they are reduced to by reason of the non-payment thereof, of which
we are very sensible, some of them having nothing else to subsist on.
We cannot forbear reminding you of the said arrear with our desires
of you speedy discharging thereof. |
