of the sums appearing undeducted for Transportation at the foot of the account of Charles Fox the preceding Paymaster [of Forces Abroad], for the year 1704 amounting to 2,121l. 12s. 9d. there has been deducted and charged within the time of this accompt the sum of 5l. 14s. 8d. from Lieut. Gen. Ingoldesby's Regiment and there remains to be charged (for aught appears to the Auditors) 2,715l. 18s. 1d.
There is also undeducted and uncharged for like provisions for Transportation in the said Charles Fox's accompt for the half year to 24 June 1705 the sum of 150l. 8s. 2d.
Memorandum: The sum of 40,000l. was lent by her Majesty to the King of Spain and allowed [to] the said Fox in his 1704 account. Care is to be taken thereof when the account with the said King shall be settled.
Memorandum: It not appearing by Mr. Hudson's accounts of the Hospitals that the sums therein charged as received of the Paymasters are the full sums that were to be deducted from the said Forces, or [was] the whole [sum] that was received by the said Hudson from the said Paymasters, and it not appearing by the said accompts that vouchers were delivered to the Physician General and others who have certified the same, and no authority being produced for their [the auditors! finally allowing the said accounts it seems requisite that the said Mr. Hudson should accompt for the said several sums of money by him received upon account of the said Hospital amounting in the year 1704 to 9,254l. 11s. 3d.; in the year to Xmas 1705 to 9,211l. 5s. 11a., and in the year 1706 to 9,010l. 14s. 0d.
Memorandum: The accomptant's Deputy has attested upon oath his Regimental accompts pursuant to the Act of Parliament in that behalf.

Memorandum. that Sir Henry Furnesse, deceased, being by agreement with the Lord Treasurer dated 1704–5;, February 13 and several subsequent agreements appointed to remit money for her Majesty's Forces in the Low Countries and Germany for which he is accomptable, he did in his lifetime, by order of the Treasury, exhibit the accompts of the said remittances for the time he was concerned in that affair, viz. from 1705 to 1710 both inclusive, which are under examination.
