Memorandum. It appears by a return made by the [these] accountants in their account and also by a certificate of the Comptroller of the Accounts of Prizes that there remained to be accounted for at the time of the determination of this accompt the value of several prizes not accompted for to these accomptants, as also several sums of money not answered and paid to them, besides the balances and supers returned in the foregoing account, which are to be accounted for by Thomas Baker and William Gosselin, appointed to recover and receive arrears of prizes: viz.

as also the prize John de la Grace, taken by the Newcastle, Capt. Vincent Cutter, in 1708, was disposed of at Barcelona by the Earl of Peterborough's order, for the service of the Army in Spain, for which no account has been rendered, the net proceed whereof according to an account returned to the [herein] accountants by the said Earl's Secretary amounts to 3,067l. 10s. 0d.
It also appears by the accompt of these accomptants that there was powder, bombs and other stores taken out of a satia, name unknown, made prize by her Majesty's ships Newport and Tartar, which were delivered at Niza for the use and service of the Duke of Savoy, valued at 1,650l.
as also artillery and stores taken out of a Genoese prize taken by the Lyme, Capt. Doleman, and delivered by the Earl of Peterborough's order to Capt. Scott, Governor of Denia Castle, for the [Artillery] Train, valued at 2,060l.
as also that the prize St. Clara, taken by the ship of war Sorlings, Capt. Jackson, in 1708, appears to have been carried into Barcelona and there disposed of, but that no money hath been paid for the same to these accomptants.
and that the Commissioners of the Victualling received provisions out of the prizes Hester, Vierge or Windsor's Prize and St. Michael, for which they made no payments to these accomptants.
and that Thomas Wood and Jos. Gyde, appointed Agents for Prizes at Jamaica, have not accompted to these accomptants for the produce of the prizes that came under their care.
and that the aforesaid Alexander Hamilton, Agent for recovering of Prize money in the West Indies, did not render to them his account of the moneys which came to his hands for prizes, but remains answerable for the same,
and that Anthony Ellis, late Agent at Yarmouth, is accomptable for 2l. 9s. 9d. formerly overpaid him.
and that Sir Beville Granville, deceased, late Governor of Barbados, is accomptable for 431l. 19s. 3d. for money received by him from Robert Gibbs, Agent there, for the Lord High Admiral's Tenths of the prizes Amazon, Jermaine and La Marie.
The aforesaid Thomas Baker and William Gosselin, Commissioners for recovering Arrears of Prizes, are to account for all such other prizes or parcels of prizes as have or shall come to their hands or knowledge.
