Time of Meeting.

Every Day to come at Eight, and to begin the great Business at Nine, - Ordered resolutely.

Union with Scotland.

Mr. Speaker readeth the Article of Naturalization : Which is against Order.

Mr. Fuller beginneth. - It is so weighty, as it hath made us all silent. If this Silence hath made us more deeply consider of it, it is a good Silence. -

That hostile Laws should be taken away. - Inconvenient to England and Scotland : Hurtful to Englishmen and England: Hurtful, to be done without Consent in Parliament. -

God hath made people apt for every Country. -

Not to sow all Corns in all Grounds ; but Oats in one, Wheat in another. -

Fat, and a lean, Pasture : - Pull down the Hedge, the Cattle in one will come into another, and hardly return.- -

Two great Manors : One hath Common, Wood, Liberty of Estovers: The other, another Common; - a little Turf. The Owner will have Tenants equal in Profits : - Plain Wrong. If he make a Grant, it is void. -

The King cannot make a Village Parcel of another County. The King cannot make Parcel of one Kingdom Part of another. -

Sending Answer to Lords.

When we yield, then to answer by the Lords Messengers: if we thought not fit, then to send by our own.

Q. Whether we should send by our own: - Resolved, We should.

Answ. That we will send by Messengers of our own. -

Where their Lordships have sent, to proceed in the Conference, concerning all Three Points ; this House is not so prepared, as they can send ; but, so soon as they have debated it, they will.

Answ. That we are not ready to send an Answer; but so soon as we can be ready, we will send Answer.
