Horse-hides, &c.

L. 1a. B. TO restrain the Using of any Leather made of Horse-hides, Hog-skins, &c.

Good's Estate.

L. 1a. B. For the Enabling of John Good, Esquire, to convey unto his Majesty a small Portion of Land, during a Term of Years.

Clothing.

The Amendments and Proviso in the Bill of Clothing, twice read, and committed to the former Committee for the Bill itself: - To meet presently in the Committee Chamber [a]," and dispatch it.

Cavendish's Relief.

The House to sit in the Afternoon ; and Counsel to be heard, on both Parts, in Mrs. Cavendish's Case. - Sir Charles Cornwallys, his Majesty's Legier Ambassador in Spaine, the adverse Party.

Unlawful Assemblies.

L. 1a. et 2a B. For the Continuance of One Act, intituled, An Act against unlawful and rebellious Assemblies: - Upon a double Reading, committed to all the Privy Council of the House, all the Lawyers of the House, Sir Edward Mountague, Sir Geo. Moore, Sir Robert Cotton, Sir Henry Poole, Mr. Alford, Sir Robert Wingfield, Sir Edwyn Sandys, Mr. Nanton, Mr. Yong, Mr. Forsett, Mr. Carleton, Mr. Upton, Sir William Strowd, Sir Thomas Holcroft, Sir Thomas Waller, Sir John Savill, Sir Robert Johnson; and such other Members of the House as will give their Attendance : - To meet Tomorrow Morning, at Nine a Clock, in the Court of Wards.

Clothing.

The Amendments and Proviso in the Bill of Clothing, reported from the Committee by Sir Henry Mountague; but the Reading deferred till Tomorrow.

Privilege.

Pasmore, the Knight Marshal's Man, for arresting of Jessop, Servant of Sir Henry Nevill of Kent, according to former Order, was brought to the Bar by the Serjeant. He excused himself, that he knew not he was Servant to Sir Henry, till after the Arrest; yet it did appear, that, after he knew it, he took an Assumpsit of him, to answer the Matter for which he pretended to arrest him.

It was thereupon ordered, that he should be committed to the Serjeant, during the Pleasure of the House; that he should discharge the Assumpsit, and repay all the Fees paid or due by Jessop, besides his own Fees due to the Officers of this House, upon his Restraint.

Smyth, Sir Geo. Moore, Sir William Fortescue, Mr. Wymark, Sir John Pettus: - To meet Tomorrow in the Afternoon, in the Court of Wards.

Steward's Nat.

L. 3a. An Act for the Naturalizing of John Steward, Esquire, Brother and Heir apparent of Patrick Earl of Orkney: - Upon a third Reading, and the Question, passed.

Curriers.

1. An Act for the Relief of poor Curriers, inhabiting within Three Miles of the City of London, and the Suburbs thereof, &c. with Amendments.

Watermen.

2. An Act for Repealing of one Clause or Branch of a Statute made in the first Session of this Parliament, intituled, An Act concerning Wherrymen and Watermen; with Amendments, and a Proviso, added by the Lords.
