SUNDRY sworn, and the Oath read by Mr. Chancellor.

Allowances to Messengers.

Sir H. Poole: - That the Committee for Privileges sit, about Allowances to Messengers, To-morrow in the Afternoon. - All that have Excuse, to bring them in Writing.

Then Mr. Speaker receded, and the Committee sat.

Mr. Speaker ascended his Chair about Ten.

Conference desired.

Message from the Lords by Sir John Crook, Mr. D. Amye, Mr. Edw. Grimston; -

The Lords - to move a Meeting between the Committees and their Lordships Committees, to impart such Things, as, by his Majesty's Commandment, they are to impart to this House. -

The Meeting this Afternoon, in the Painted Chamber: - The former Committees.

Sir Edw. Mountague: - That there might be no Precedent, to receive the Message from the King by the Lords.

Answ. That though they had appointed Business of great Importance this Afternoon, yet, for their Lordships Satisfaction, they are content to give Meeting; and desire that the Lords would hold the Hour appointed.
