The Seven last Bills passed, and Restitutions of Cobham and Cranmer's Children, sent to the Lords by Mr. Secretary, &c.

Proceedings concerning Pledall, &c.

The Master of the Rolls, with other Committees for the Cause of Forger suspected upon Pledall, declared great and vehement Suspicion to be in Pledall; and where Pledall, by the Committees, was commanded not to speak with the Parson of Monkton Farley, he notwithstanding sent for him, and spake with him in the Night; which Parson is likewise suspected : Whereupon Pledall said, he doth not remember of any such Commandment.

And thereupon Order was taken, that the Committees should put their Doings in this Case in Writing, and sent to the House this Afternoon; and that they should be read to Pledall; and he to answer them, as he would, either by Word or Writing.

L. 2. The Bill de Excommunicato Capiendo to be directed out of the Chancery returnable in the King's Bench, with Proclamation.

1. nova. The Bill, that the Lord Chancellor may direct Commissions to the Bishop, and other Persons, for the Increase of Living of Ministers in Churches of small Values in Towns.
