Privilege - Imprisonment of a Member.

PRAYERS being said, the Committee, about the Privileges of the House, sat.

Mr. Rolles reporteth from this Committee, the Words delivered, whereat his Majesty had taken Offence at Sir D. Digges, viz. that he should say, by the Command of the House, upon the Particular of the Plaister, applied to the Body of the late King, " that he did forbear to speak any further, in regard of the King's Honour;" or Words to that Effect, -

That the Committee hath resolved, l. That a solemn Protestation shall be made by every Member of this House, 1. Whether he did consent.....

Upon Question, this Protestation shall be taken by all the Members of this House.

2ly, The Names to be called by the Book.

3ly, All, that are absent, to make the like Protestation, when they come.

Upon Question, this to be done presently.

Upon Question, all, that have now made Default, as soon as they come to the House, before they give their Voice, to take the like Protestation.
