1. Form of Conference. - Intreated an Exchange of Arguments : - Expected it with Correspondence. - Dry Conferences never bring to Conclusion. - To entertain a free Commerce of Mind. - Too curious in the Manner of our Conferences, - We had found from them such Correspondence : - No Cause to be jealous of their good Intentions. - Had a Desire to do all good Offices that might breed a Conjunction. -

The Lords Demands. - The Ten first recited. - He saw, by our bare Replies, we thought them not worth the accepting. -

If we discard the rest, we did not truly value it alone.

- That an Alienation more worth than all we offered. -

They never said, for less we should not have it; therefore a free Conference. -

A Wonder, what Tempest had fallen : - A Danger to ask a Question. -

Give what we list, and lay it where we list. -

200,000l. the eighth Part of all the Kingdom's Possessions. - Hydage in R. II. to the Subsidy. -

The Hydage Ten times more. - Deceived much, that made it- -

Sir Geo. Moore: - That the Gentlemen appointed to report, might assemble, and agree upon the Report touching the other Lords Speeches.

Mr. Hoskins: - That it might be penned, and delivered to the Clerk.

The Committees assemble in the Committee Chamber, to prepare the Report.

Brook's Children.
