Prayers.

Supply Bill; granting a present Aid.

THE Order for the House to resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to proceed further in the Consideration of the Bill for granting a present Aid to his Majesty, was read.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Hamden took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Hamden reports from the Committee of the whole House, That they having taken the Bill for granting a present Aid to his Majesty into their further Consideration, they had gone through the same; and had made several Amendments therein, and added several Clauses and Provisoes; and that he was directed by the Committee to move the House, that the Bill with such Amendments, Clauses, and Provisoes, might be reported on Tuesday Morning next.

Resolved, That Mr. Hamden make his Report on Tuesday Morning next, at Nine of the Clock.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Sir Wm. Portman have Leave to go into the Country, for his Health.

A Motion was made, that Sir Rob. Napper have Leave to go into the Country:

And the Question being put that such Leave be granted him;

It passed in the Negative.

Printing the Votes.

A Motion was made (according to the Order of Thursday last) that the Votes of this House may be printed:

A long Debate arose thereupon:

And the Question being proposed, That the Votes be printed accordingly;

The previous Question was put, that That Question be now put:

The House divided.

The Noes go forth.

So it was resolved in the Negative.

The King's Speech to be considered.

The Order of Yesterday, that this House would, this Morning, at Eleven a Clock, take into Consideration his Majesty's Speech, was read.

And a Motion being made, that the House would on Monday Morning, at Nine a Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to take into Consideration his Majesty's Speech;

An Addition was proposed to be made thereunto, of these Words, "and particularly the Revenue; and nothing to intervene."

Resolved, That those Words be added to the Question.

Resolved, That this House will, on Monday Morning next, at Nine a Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to take into Consideration his Majesty's Speech; and particularly the Revenue; and nothing to intervene.

Old Sarum Election.

Ordered, That the Cause, touching the Election and Return of Burgesses to serve in this present Parliament for the Borough of Old Sarum in the County of Wilts, which was appointed to be heard, at the Bar of this House, on Monday next, be put off until Wednesday next, at Eight of the Clock in the Forenoon; and be then heard.

And then the House adjourned till Monday Morning, Eight a Clock.
