Malicious Informations.

A BILL to prevent malicious Informations in the Court of King's Bench, and for the more easy Reversal of Outlawries, was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed, to Mr. Willmot, Sir William Honeywood, Sir Tho. Haslerigg, Sir Robert Cotton, Serjeant Wogan, Mr. Cooke, Mr. Christy, Mr. Lutterell, Sir John Wynn, Mr. Gwyn, Mr. Biddulph, Serjeant Trenchard, Mr. Chetwyn, Mr. Burdett, Mr. How, Mr. Blofeild, Mr. Slater, Mr. Hedger, Mr. Bickerstaffe, Mr. Waller, Sir Jos. Tredenham, Mr. Tredenham, Mr. Hutchinson, Mr. Trenchard, Mr. Clarke, Mr. Thornhaugh, Sir John Moreton, Mr. England: And they are to meet this Afternoon at Four a Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber.

Hudson's Bay Company.

Mr. Christy, according to Order, presented to the House a Bill for preventing fraudulent Sales by the Hudson's Bay Company, and for preventing the Exportation of Coney Wool and Hares Wool.

The Bill was read the First time.

And the Question being put, That it be read a Second time;

The House divided.

The Yeas go forth.

So it passed in the Negative.

Message respecting the Army.

The Lord Ranelagh acquaints the House, That he had a Message to deliver from his Majesty; viz. That, of the Fifty-four thousand Five hundred Sixty-two Men mentioned in the List of the Land Forces delivered in to this House for the Service of the Year 1693, his Majesty intends to keep Twenty thousand in England, for the Security of this Kingdom.

Ships employed.

The Lord Falkland, according to Order, presented to the House a List of such Ships as are to be employed at Sea for the Year 1693: And he delivered the same in at the Table: Where the same was read; and is as followeth; viz.

Admiralty Office, 2d December, 1692.

An ACCOUNT of the Number and Rates of Ships to be employed in their Majesties Service at Sea in the Year 1693:

Supply.

Then the House, according to the Order of the Day, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider farther of the Supply to be granted to their Majesties for the carrying on a vigorous War against France; and, in the First Place, of supplying the Defect of the Poll Bill.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Attorney General took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Attorney General reported from the said Committee, That the Committee had agreed upon a Resolution; which they had directed him to report to the House: And which he read in his Place; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same was read; and is as followeth; viz.

Resolved, That it is the Opinion of this Committee, That, for the making good the Sum of Thirteen hundred forty-one thousand Seven hundred Pounds, intended to be raised by the Act for a Quarterly Poll, a Sum, not exceeding the Sum of Seven hundred and fifty thousand Pounds, be granted to their Majesties.

The said Resolution being read a Second time;

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That the House doth agree with the Committee in the said Resolution, That, for the making good the Sum of Thirteen hundred fortyone thousand Seven hundred Pounds, intended to be raised by the Act for a Quarterly Poll, a Sum, not exceeding the Sum of Seven hundred and fifty thousand Pounds, be granted to their Majesties.

Mr. Attorney General also acquainted the House, That the said Committee had made some farther Progress in the Matter of the Supply to be granted to their Majesties: And that the Committee had directed him to move the House, That they may have Leave to sit again.

Resolved, That this House will, upon Tuesday Morning, Ten a Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider farther of the Supply to be granted to their Majesties, for the carrying on a vigorous War against France.

Ordered, That all Committees be adjourned.

And then the House adjourned till Monday Morning, Nine a Clock.
