Prayers.

Call of the House.

ORDERED, That the House be called over upon Monday Morning next; and that such Members of this House as shall not then attend the Service of the House, be sent for in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms.

Miscarriages of the Fleet.

Then the Order of the Day, for taking into Consideration his Majesty's gracious Speech to both Houses, was read.

And his Majesty's Speech being read,

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That this House will support their Majesties, and their Governement; and will, on Wednesday Morning next, at Ten a Clock, enquire into the Miscarriages of the Fleet the last Summer; and take into their consideration the Preservation of the Trade of the Nation.

Papers respecting it.

Ordered, That the Commissioners of the Admiralty (who are Members of this House) do, on Wednesday Morning next, inform this House why the Streights Fleet was stopt till the main Fleet went out.

Ordered, That the said Commissioners do also lay before this House Copies of all Instructions and Orders to the Fleet the last Summer.

Ordered, That they do also lay before this House the Number of Ships for the Line of Battle, and of the Convoys and Cruisers, and their several Stations, for the last Summer.

Ordered, That the Admirals, that commanded the Fleet the last Summer, and Sir George Rooke, do attend this House on Wednesday Morning next.

Ordered, That the Turkey Company, or such as they shall appoint, do attend this House upon Wednesday Morning next.

Ordered, That the Admirals, who are to attend this House on Wednesday next, do bring with them the Results of the several Councils of War, held pursuant to the Instructions they received.

Supply.

A Motion being made for a Supply to be granted to their Majesties, for Maintenance of the Fleet.

Resolved, Nemine contradicente, That this House will, upon Thursday Morning next, at Ten a Clock, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the said Motion.

Money given for Naval Services.

Ordered, That the Commissioners for taking the publick Accounts do, on Thursday Morning next, lay before this House a State of what Money has been given by this House, for the Maintenance of the Fleet during the War, and what they have received thereof.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Nine a Clock.
