MR. Waller reported from the Committee, to whom the ingrossed Bill from the Lords, intituled, An Act for vesting the Third Part of the Manor of Leckby, alias Letby, and other Lands, in the County of York, in Trustees, to be sold; and for settling a Farm, and other Lands, in Tarling and Much-Leighs, in the County of Essex, of greater Value, to and upon the same Uses; was committed; That they had considered the Bill, and examined the Values of the Lands therein mentioned; and had made several Amendments to the Bill; which they had directed him to report to the House; and which he read in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were twice read; and, upon the Question severally put thereupon, agreed unto by the House; and are as follow; viz.

Colonel Perry reported from the Committee, to whom the Bill for the Endowment of a Chapel at Wapping, and making of it Parochial, and distinct from the Parish of Whiteckapel, was committed, That they had examined and considered the same, and the several Petitions to them referred; and had made several Amendments to the Bill; which they had directed him to report to the House; and which he read in his Place, with the Coherence; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were read.

Ordered, That the said Report be taken into Consideration upon Tuesday Morning next, at Ten a Clock: And that Sir John Thompson, a Member of this House, be then heard at the Bar of this House, by his Counsel, against the said Bill.

Brent's Estate.

Sir John Bolles reported from the Committee, to whom the ingrossed Bill, from the Lords, intituled, An Act to enable Trustees to sell Part of the Estate of Nathaniel Brent, deceased, to raise Monies for Payment of his Debts, and Maintenance of his Children, who are Infants, was committed, That they had examined and considered the same; and had made several Amendments to the Bill; which they had directed him to report to the House; and which he read in his Place with the Coherence; and afterwards delivered in at the Clerk's Table: Where the same were twice read; and, upon the Question severally put thereupon, agreed uno by the House; and are as follow; viz.

Press 2. L. 3. after "indebted," leave out to "and" in the 8th Line; and, instead thereof, insert "at the time of his Death, to divers Persons, in several Sums of Money, by Bonds, Bills, or other Specialties."

A Member discharged from custody.

Ordered, That Mr. Serjeant Blincoe, in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, for absenting himself from his Service in Parliament, be discharged out of Custody, paying his Fees.

Hawkers and Pedlars.

An ingrossed Bill against Hawkers and Pedlars was read the Third time.

An ingrossed Clause was offered, as a Rider, against Tinkers, in the Cities of London and Westminster, and Borough of Southwark.

And the same was thrice read; and, upon the Question put thereupon, agreed unto by the House, to be made Part of the Bill.

Then the Question being put, That the Bill do pass;

So it was resolved in the Affirmative.

Ordered, That Sir Richard Hart do carry the Bill to the Lords, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Sir Michael Wentworth have Leave to go into the Country, upon extraordinary Occasions.

Ordered, That Mr. Bushy Mansell have Leave to go into the Country, for Recovery of his Health.

Ordered, That a Bill be brought in for taking and stating the publick Accompts: And that Colonel Granville do prepare, and bring in, the same.

A Message from the Lords by Sir Miles Cook and Sir Lacon William Childe:

Mr. Speaker,

The Lords have passed a Bill, intituled, An Act for naturalizing Johanna D'Offarrell, an Infant, and her Sister and Two Brothers: To which they desire the Concurrence of this House.

And then the Messengers withdrew.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Mr. Fawkes have Leave to go into the Country, upon extraordinary Occasions.

Supply Bill; Poll Tax.

A Bill for granting to their Majesties a Quarterly Poll, for One Year, was read the Second time.

Resolved, That the Bill be committed to a Committee of the whole House.

Resolved, That this House will, upon Monday Morning next, resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider of the said Bill.

Ways and Means.

Resolved, That this House do immediately resolve itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of Ways and Means for raising the Supplies to be granted to their Majesties, for the Maintenance of the Fleet, and Land-Forces, for the Service of the Year 1694.
