Prayers.

Wyndham's Estate.

AN ingrossed Bill, to enable Trustees to make Leases, and grant Copies, and receive the Rents and Profits, of the Estates late of Sir Edward Wyndham Baronet, deceased, and Hopton Wyndham Esquire, deceased, during the Minority of Sir William Wyndham Baronet, for the Intents and Purposes therein mentioned, was read the Third time.

And several Amendments were proposed to be made therein; viz.

Press 3. L. 18. and 19, leave out, "Thomas Wyndham, of Hay-Church, in the County of Dorsett Esquire."

L. 35. leave out "Thomas Wyndham."

Pr. 4. L. 13. the same Amendment.

L. 25. the same Amendment.

And the same were, upon the Question severally put thereupon, agreed unto by the House.

Resolved, That the Bill do pass: And that the Title be, An Act to enable Trustees to make Leases, and grant Copies, and receive the Rents and Profits, of the Estates late of Sir Edward Wyndham Baronet, deceased, and Hopton Wyndham Esquire, deceased, during the Minority of Sir William Wyndham Baronet, for the Intents and Purposes therein mentioned.

Ordered, That Colonel Granville do carry the Bill to the Lords, and desire their Concurrence thereunto.

Earl of Gainsborough's Estate.

An ingrossed Bill, from the Lords, intituled, An Act for vesting Lands, in Trustees, to be sold, for Payment of the Debts of Wriothesly Baptist late Earl of Gainsborough, was read the Third time.

Resolved, That the Bill do pass.

Ordered, That the Lord Digby do carry the Bill to the Lords, and acquaint them, That this House hath agreed to the same, without any Amendment.

Whitborne Rectory.

Ordered, That the ingrossed Bill, from the Lords, intituled, An Act to annex the Rectory of Whitborne, in Herefordshire, to the Bishoprick of Hereford, be read the Third time upon Saturday next.

Seamen's Arrears.

Ordered, That the Report from the Committee, to whom the Petitions of the Officers and Soldiers of the Ships taken as Prize were referred, be taken into Consideration upon Saturday Sevennight.

Bailing of Persons impeached.

A Petition of John Goudet, Peter Longueville, and Peter de Hearce, in Custody of the Serjeant at Arms attending this House, was presented to the House, and read; setting forth, That they, being engaged in Debt, both at home and abroad, are in Danger of being utterly ruined, unless they may be admitted to Bail: And praying the same.

Ordered, That the Consideration of the said Petition be referred to a Committee: And that . . . . do consider in what manner Bail hath been taken in like Cases of Misdemeanor; and report the same to the House.

And it is referred to Lord Spencer, Sir Christopher Musgrave, Sir John Bolls, Mr. Harly, Sir Henry Hobart, Sir Henry Colt, Sir Marm. Wyvell, Mr. Moor, Colonel Granville, Lord Pawlett, Sir Rowland Gwyne, Mr. Machell, Mr. Mountstevens, Sir Walter Young, Mr. Arnold, Sir William Forrester, Sir William St. Quintin, Mr. Bar. Granville, Mr. Norris, Sir Samuel Bernardiston, Sir Charles Sidley, Mr. Palmes, Mr. Lampton, Lord Coningsby, Mr. Heveningham, Lord Digby, Mr. Bromly, Sir Thomas Dyke, Mr. Blofeild, Mr. Philips, Mr. England, Mr. Boyle, Sir Cha. Wyndham, Sir Robert Davers, Sir Robert Rich, Mr. Fuller, Mr. Vaughan, Mr. Manly; or any Five of them: And they are to meet this Afternoon at Five a Clock, in the Speaker's Chamber.

Leave of Absence.

Ordered, That Mr. Thomas Foley, of Stoake, have Leave to go into the Country for a Fortnight, upon extraordinary Occasions.

Ways and Means.

The House, according to Order, resolved itself into a Committee of the whole House, to consider further of Ways and Means for raising the Supply granted to his Majesty.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Sir Thomas Littleton took the Chair of the Committee.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Sir Thomas Littleton reported from the said Committee, That they had made a further Progress in the Matter to them referred.

And then the House adjourned till To-morrow Morning, Nine a Clock.
