Preachers thanked.

ORDERED, That Sir Wm. Massam do, from this House, give Thanks unto Mr. Marshall, for the great Pains be took in his Sermon preached on this Day at Margarett's, Westminster, before the House of Commons: And that he be desired to print his Sermon: Wherein he is to have the like Privilege in Printing of it, as others in like kind usually have had.

Ordered, That Mr. Bois do, from this House, give Thanks unto Mr. Wilson, for the Great Pains he took in the Sermon he preached on this Day, at Margarett's, Westminster, before the House of Commons: And that he be desired to print his Sermon: Wherein he is to have the like Privilege in Printing thereof, as others in like kind usually have had.

Ordered, That Sir Wm. Massam do, from this House, desire Mr. Nye to preach before the House of Commons, at Margarett's, Westminster on the next monthly Fast Day.

Ordered, That Mr. Weaver do, from this House, desire Mr. Ashe to preach before the House of Commons, at Margarett's, Westminster, on the next monthly Fast Day.

Propagating the Gospel.

Ordered, That the Committee appointed to consider of Means for propagating the Gospel be revived: And that they do meet To-morrow at Two post meridiem, in the former Place; and so de die in diem: And that they do bring in a Report of that Business with all convenient Speed.

Religion.

Ordered, That Friday next, and so every Friday in the Week, the House do take into Consideration the Matters of Religion: And that no other Business do intervene: And that Mr. Speaker do, from time to time, put the House in mind hereof: And that, in the first Place, the House do proceed in the Consession of Faith.

The Covenant.

Ordered, That on the next Fast Day, those Members of this House that have not yet taken the Convenant in the House, be enjoined to attend here, and to take the Covenant: And the Sejeant is required to give them Notice of this Order.

Excise and Customs.

Whereas the House had, by former Order, appointed to take into Consideration the Business touching the Improvement of the Excise and Customs to the best Advantage of the State, on Friday next: It is Ordered, That they do take that Business into Consideration on Saturday Morning next, the first Business: And that Mr. Speaker do put the House in mind hereof.
