Preachers thanked.

ORDERED, That Colonel Leigh do, from this House, give Thanks unto Mr. Strong, for the great Pains he took in his Sermon preached on this Day, at Margarett's, Westminster, before the House of Commons; it being a Day of Publick Humiliation: And that he be desired to print his Sermon: Wherein he is to have the like Privilege in Printing of it, as others in the like kind usually have had.

Ordered, That Mr. Nelthorpe do, from this House, give Thanks unto Mr. Bolton, for the great Pains he took in the Sermon he preached on this Day at Margarett's, Westminster, before the House of Commons; it being a Day of Publick Humiliation: And that he be desired to print his Sermon: Wherein he is to have the like Privilege in Printing of it, as others in the like kind usually have had.

Ordered, That Mr. Bond, do, from this House, give Thanks to Mr. Bond, for his great Pains in Praying before the House of Commons, this Day at Margarett's, Westminster, it being a Day of Publick Humiliation.

Ordered, That Colonel Bossevile do, from this House, desire Mr. Arthur to preach before the Commons at Margarett's, Westminster, the next monthly Fast Day.

Ordered, That Sir Richard Onslow do, from this House, desire Mr. Rayner to preach before the Commons at Margarett's, Westminster, on the next monthly Fast Day.

Ordered, That Mr. Myles Corbett do, from this House, desire Mr. Ashe to pray before the Commons at Margarett's, Westminster, the next monthly Fast Day.

The Lord's Day, &c.

Ordered, That the former Order, made for a Committee to inquire into the Neglect of such Ministers of Justice, and others, as do not perform their Duties, in punishing the Misdemeanors of such as do not better observe the Lord's Day, and the Days of Publick Humiliation be forthwith printed.

Blasphemies and Heresies.

Ordered, That Edward Husbands the Printer do print, forthwith, Six thousand Copies of the Ordinance for Punishing of Blasphemies and Heresies: And that they be dispersed, and read, according to the former Order made in this Business.

Payment to Husband.

Ordered, That the Sum of Five hundred Pounds be forthwith paid unto Edward Husbands Stationer, upon Account, or his Assignee, towards the Discharge of a Debt owing unto the said Edward Husbands, for divers Ordinances, and other Matters, which the said Edward Husbands hath, by Order of the House of Commons, printed for the Publick Service of the Kingdom: And that the said Sum of Five hundred Pounds be paid, as aforesaid; and do issue out of the Rents and Profits arising, and to be made, of the Estate, real and personal, of Sir Henry Gibbs: And the Committees, Sequestrators, and Treasurers, in the Counties where any of the said Sir Henry Gibbs' Estate is, and hereby authorized and required, to pay, from time to time, the Rents and Profits arising from the Sequestration of the said Estate, until the said Sum of Five hundred Pounds be fully paid and satisfied: And that the Acquittance of the said Edward Husbands, or his Assignee, shall be a sufficient Discharge to the Committees, Sequestrators, and Treasurers, for so much as, in pursuance and Obedience to this Order, shall be by them, or any of them, paid unto the said Edward Husbands, as aforesaid.

An Ordinance for Encouragement and Advance of Piety and Learning in the Plantations of New England, was this Day read the First time; and ordered to be read the Second time, on Wednesday Morning next.

Ordered, That the Petition of the Inhabitants of Farringdon be read To-morrow Morning.
