Which was this Day read the First and Second time; and, upon the Question, committed unto the Committee of the Navy: And all that come to have Voices: And that they sit in the Star Chamber, To-morrow in the Afternoon; and so de die in diem: With Power to the said Committee to receive any Propositions or Informations, that they shall think fit, for the regulating or advancing of the Excise; and to send for Persons, Papers, and Witnesses, and what else shall conduce to the Business: And the Committee are to report it with all convenient Speed.
Business to be done.
Ordered, That the Report from the Council of State, touching what are necessary to be taken into Consideration by the House before the Adjournment, be made next after the Lieutenant General's Commission be read.
