Prayers.

Settling the Government.

THE House (according to former Order) was this Day resolved into a Committee of the whole House, upon the Government.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.
Mr. Hoskins was called to the Chair.
Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Hoskins reports, The Desire of the said Committee, That the House would give Leave, that the Committee may sit again To-morrow Morning.

Resolved, That the House be resolved into a Committee of the whole House To-morrow Morning, upon the Government, according to former Order.

Preachers appointed.

Resolved, That the House do appoint Two Ministers to preach before them at Margarett's, Westminster, on the next Lord's Day, being the Fifth of November.

Resolved, That Mr. Vines and Mr. Manton be desired to preach before the Parliament on the said Day: And Mr. Bulkley is to give Notice hereof to Mr. Manton; and Colonel John Birch is to give Notice hereof to Mr. Vines.
