Prayers.

Settling the Government.

THE House was this Day, according to former Order, resolved into a Committee of the whole House, upon the Clause of the Government, committed to them.

Mr. Speaker left the Chair.

Mr. Hoskins was called to the Chair.

Mr. Speaker resumed the Chair.

Mr. Hoskins reports from the Committee, That they have debated this Clause all this Day; and desire to have the further Direction of the House.

Resolved, That Mr. Hoskins do make Report, what the Committee have done upon the said Clause.

Mr. Hoskins accordingly reports, That the Committee did agree . . one Amendment in this Clause committed to them: Which was twice read.

Resolved, That the Debate on this whole Clause be adjourned till To-morrow Morning.
