Customs and Excise.
ORDERED, That the Committee for improving the Customs, be added to the Committee for improving the Excise of Ale and Beer; and that both the said Committees be united.
Tauturier's &c. Nat.
Mr. Noell reports Amendments to the Bill for Naturalizing of Florentine Tauturier, Mathew Boucheret, William Leonard, Robert Leonard and Mary Leonard, William Northey, Mary Russell, Peter Vasham, Thomas Whitstone, Catharine Whitston and Levina Whitston, Frederick Losse, Andrew Wanley, Valentine Wanley, David Collivaux, Philip Jago alias Jegau, Thomas Michell, John George Sadowsky alias Sedascue, Claudius Gilbert, Frederick Shloer, Harman Barnes, Lodowick De Burgougne alias Lambermont, and Theodore Hoffe: Which were twice read; and, upon the Question, assented unto: And the Bill, so amended, was, upon the Question, ordered to be ingrossed.
Ordered, That the Bill for Norwich Stuffs be read upon Tuesday Morning next.
A Bill for Confirmation of Sales of Lands, made in Pursuance of several Acts and Ordinances of Parliament, and for Indemnity of Persons who have served the Commonwealth, from vexatious Suits and Molestations, was this Day read the First time.
And the Question being propounded, Whether this Bill be read the Second time on Wednesday;
The Question being put, That that Question be now put;
It passed in the Affirmative.
And the main Question being put; It was
Resolved, That this Bill be read the Second time on Wednesday next.
Ordered, That Colonel Rous, Mr. Nicholls, Sir John Reynolds, Mr. Hide, Mr. Pury, Sir Sam. Sleighe, Lord Cleypoole, Mr. Bodurda, be added to the Committee for the Bill against Vagabonds.
