Prayers.

Col. Lilburne.

MR. Solicitor General reports Amendments to the Bill for the Execution of a Judgment in Parliament against Lieutenant Colonel John Lilburne: Which were this Day read the First and Second time.

Resolved, That these Words, viz. " he being in England, Scotland or Ireland, or the Territories, Islands, or Dominions thereof," be added in the Clause of the said Amendments.

And the said Amendments, being put to the Question, were assented unto.

The Question being put, That this Bill be ingrossed;

It passed with the Negative.

And the said Bill, so amended, being put to the Question, passed. And

It is Ordered, That the said Act be forthwith printed and published.

Report deferred.

Resolved, That after the Business of Ireland, the Report be made touching the Merchants, by Mr. Thomas Challoner.

Army Appointment.

The House this Day resumed the Debate, upon the Report made from the Council of State touching Major General Lambert, to be Commander of the military Forces in Ireland, under the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland.

Resolved, That Major General John Lambert be made Deputy of Ireland, under the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland.

Resolved, That the Lord Lieutenant of Ireland be required to give a Deputation, accordingly.

Resolved, That the Council of State do take Notice of this Vote; and that they do write forthwith unto the Commissioners of the Parliament in Scotland, and also to Major General Lambert, that he do speedily repair hither, in Pursuance of this Vote.

Irish Affairs.

Resolved, That the Council of State do perfect their Report touching the Names of the Persons to be excepted in the Qualifications of Ireland; and report the same to the Parliament on Friday next, the first Business.

Nat. Bill.

Resolved, That Mr. Challoner do report the Amendments to the Bill for Naturalization on Friday Morning next, the first Business.

Army Accompts.

Resolved, That the Committee to whom the Business of the Cheshire Officers is referred, have Power to inspect the Accompts of such of the said Officers, as are not stated: That they be stated according to the Rules for stating the Accompts of the Army; and that the said Committee have Power to give Order to the Committee for Accompts at Worcester House for the doing thereof, accordingly.

Claims on Publick Faith.

Resolved, That it be referred to the Committee for considering of Things of greatest Importance, &c. to take into Consideration the Business of the publick Faith; and to prepare a Draught of a Commission to be sent into the several Counties, for ascertaining the publick Faith; and to bring in a Commission and Instructions touching it; and Qualifications of the publick Faith fit to be satisfied; and how, and in what Manner, it may be paid; and report their Opinions to the House.

Irish Affairs.

Ordered, That the Adventurers for Lands in Ireland be enjoined forthwith to attend the Committee sitting in the Speaker's Chamber, to consider of publick Business, for settling some speedy Way for the satisfying of their Adventures out of those Lands.
