UPON Information given by Thomas Morice Esquire, Member of this House, That one Robert Sewell Esquire, by Mr. John Houghton his Attorney, had delivered to the said Mr. Morris, and one William Symonds his Bailiff, Declarations in an Action of Ejectione firme, to try the Title of the Manor of Boyton Hall in Essex, in the Possession of the said Mr. Morice; and hath also lately given Notice, that they intend to proceed to Trial against the said William Symonds in the said Action of Ejectment, at the next Assizes for the said County of Essex, in Breach of the Privilege of this House;
Ordered, That the said Mr. Robert Sewell and Mr. Houghton, and all others their Counsellors, Attorneys, and Solicitors, be enjoined to forbear all further Proceedings at Law in the said Action there depending, concerning the Title of the said Manor against the said Wm. Symonds, during the Sessions of this Parliament.
A Bill for Impowering of Sir Courtney Poole Baronet, Sir John Drake Knight and Baronet, and others, to make Sale of the Manors of Limington in the County of Sommerset, for Payment of the Portion of Ellen Briscoe, one of the Daughters of Sir John Drake Knight, deceased, was this Day read the First time.
